Oh god lol
My prayers goes out to the families, to these terrible losses.
There's no basis to sue. When you enlist you do so knowing you could lose your life, from war or training accidents, etc and sign knowing this. You do get life insurance, though
Families will be taken care of.
It's scary how many of the guys talk about dying due to there families being better off that way. It's insane

You have to train simulating the situations you may be faced with when it's real. In war operations aren't postponed until daylight with 75 degree weather. They also have to train with live ordinance as well. Rest in Peace soldiers. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

The driver was tired. I’m in the military and I’m a 19d Cavalry Scout, we use the Bradley and I am 100% positive that the driver of that vehicle was tires and doses off and rolled the vehicle. They won’t tell you this because they made continue the training mission. Now we’re looking for lies to tell the public. Don’t believe anything they say unless they say the driver was severely fatigued and he was told to continue the mission.

Just got out the military and I was in Alaska and in the last year of my time I was a striker driver and it’s so hard to drive those things with very little visual. Specially at night with the road being so icy. And the pressure form the NCO in the back screaming at you on the head set.
Im happy and thankful for the time I did in the military but I am also great full I am out and safe back home.
Carlos Lopez my uncle lives in Alaska he’s a police officer and i think he was a engineer in the army.
Thank you for your service bro
Blessings to their loved ones.
Sad! RIP!
Bad bad engineered equipment! Paying billions of dollars for crappy equipment.
R Robin Bradley’s are actually pretty substantial in war.
That was driver error. Not Equipment malfunction
Error on the driver but blames the equipment
R Robin May have been terrain as well.
Future Society Of Gentlemen - not all design decisions are flaws. Armor, speed and portability requirements can often be at odds with one another and create vehicles that don’t function like POVs. They can be cumbersome and difficult to steer on various grades and conditions as they are subject to the laws of physics and weight nearly 30 tons with bulky armor. Majority of the incident reports I’ve read with regard to fatal accidents were related to complacency or unfamiliarity with equipment that lead to noncompliance with SOPs and ultimately catastrophic events. The Bradley’s have a well-documented history of trade-offs - crew space for firepower, profile height for scout optics, etc, but at this point it’s a mature weapons system with years of testing, training and real-world operations. This is probably a tragic incident caused by human error.
This is so tragic and sad. My heart ♥️ goes out to the families.
Thank You for your service Soilders 🇺🇸

Around a month ago a soldier across the street from my motor pool died by a Bradley, some say it was the door hinge that failed and crushed his head, others say the engine fell on him. Regardless stay safe and aware of your surroundings. Complacency kills

Being killed in a training exercise is inexcusable loss of human life.
Happens a lot unfortunately
More soliders die in training accidents and other accidents here state side than they do in combat.
Implying that things can never go wrong
Happens all the time. Ww2 training accidents happened every day.
They didn't mean to die. It was an accident.
Praying for the families of the soldiers that lost their lives and also continually praying for the ones that got injured.
How fast were they moving in a tank that slip in a hole and they die aren't they armored to withstand impacts and these guys are dieing from roll overs and such.... Sounds all to strange that it's been so many accidental deaths and never really heard about them until now with only certain men being shown as the victims...
They were probably driving on blackout.
I have memories of my stay at Fort Stewart.
My deepest sympathies to families.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Rest In Peace, thank you for your service. I hope the army learns from this and never let it happen again.
Looks like safe precautions were at a minimum.
Very sad military men and woman take huge risks
Its sad to see people say " this should have never happened..."
Heres something to think about... Yes its training, Yes we treat it as real life... Why? Because when it's really happening you dont get a second chance to rethink something. If your not ready to make a snap decision because youve never trained for the real thing your dead simple as that.
He who acts first lives... He who second guesses dies.
I'm a former Navy SWCC member, everything we do we do like its the real thing, live rounds, full gear, everything. Because a split second can be life or death and we need to be fully prepared for anything and everything all at once.
Being a military member is not a video game, each of us has taken an oath to protect those we love. Some of us pay the ultimate price to protect those we hold dear to us.
Rest now brothers your job is done, the rest of us will carry on fighting the good fight.

@@xfghjuga6480 with a little self motivation, it could have been you.
Sounds to me the military needs to hook up with whoever makes simulator training for the airlines to make that for these guys,
Matt Kelly we got all kind of training already.
Except rockets and mines are real... kind of sort of get your point.
They do, I don’t remember how many hours I put in for tank driving in Benning but we do.
Matt Kelly they have Bradley simulators just like the ones you see pilots train on

It's a tragedy for those who 3 soldiers to have perished like this. May they rest in peace and god bless their families they leave behind.
God bless all of them
Just left stewart and was the unit next to them and it was my worst experience in the army. Sad this happened but the training is so repetitive there and the soldiers are so over worked with lack of sleep. Something that needs to get taken more serious bc stuff like this happens way to often just gets swept under the rug and definitely can be avoided. RIP
Something like this happened when I was in Fort Hood. They knew ahead of time that it was going to be a massive flood but they decided to go to the field anyway and s vehicle flipped over and killed like 8 soldiers, some of the soldiers were brand new on their first field excessive. In my six years in the military I've witnessed the things a unit would do just to have numbers. When I went to NTC my unit was attached to another unit to help them out but that other unit refused to send food and water to our unit for a week straight, we were living off of spare supplies that we brought. Now if we were a non combat MOS that would be no problem but we're tankers who were doing 18 hour missions in 108°F tank with absolutely no water. One of the drivers of the tank ended up passing out while driving and crashing into a ditch while on mission and all 4 members of the crew had serious TBI to the point where the tank Commander have to force retire. If the military don't care about soldiers during training then they definitely don't care about soldiers when they deploy
Prayers
They drowned to death. When the bradley flips, the occupants are unable to get out and the vehicle becomes a death trap in water. Most certainly drowned. RIP
“Training accident” is the catch-all story
My blessing n condolences to all families involved or not. Pray for our soilders... Amen
This is why we train as we fight. So that this will hopefully not happen down range

Spent over a decade in the army, 10 % was always accepted as the rule in risk assessment I saw alot of guys hurt and killed in training accidents including roll overs both night and day, they train for real, it's not a video game and they're just young kids led by young kids 4 years in one of these military clown colleges don't cut it but that's what we signed up for tragic as it may be they're safer than traveling on most interstates
Rest well in peace 😔❤
Thats what you get with high center of gravity trucks. Knowing what roll angle is and how terrain moves is critical

This is a definite training issue. Practically the same thing happened at Fort Hood during flooding in 2016.NCOs and officers need to be less Hooah about training and use some common sense. They're looking at stats going up to Brigade and Division when they should be looking after their soldier's safety
C'mon, NCOs! As I recall, it was our job not just to train soldiers but to protect them from officers looking to impress higher ups (and the good idea fairy.)
Twice as many deaths in training than in combat??? That is concerning...rest in peace :(
It slipped into a hole and turned over, they shouldn't be out there at night. I'm so sorry for the family's loss.
The military does drills like this to ensure our soldiers can get atleast a feel of what might happen to them in the field. Yes what happened here is tragic and the military should've inspected the land to make sure there wasn't any deadly hazards on it, but it is neccisary to do training ops in the dark.
You're mistaken..many military operations are at night... Many many
Stay safe out there battles✊🏽💪🏽
Damn i have a friend who finished basic training and just got transferred there.
I hope leadership is held accountable for their incompetence. The whole place is filled with incompetence.

Sounds familiar: old story from West Point - 1 cadet dead, 20 injured:Lt. Col. Christopher Ophardt, a spokesman for the academy, said Thursday that two soldiers were driving the five-ton cargo carrier from the cadets’ barracks off Route 293 to a nearby area set up for land-navigation exercises.
Tactical vehicles do not typically roll over, Williams said, but the cadets intentionally train in a hilly area to simulate a realistic environment. Camp Natural Bridge is located on the edge of Harriman State Park.

Omg all these comments on the older gentlemen reporting the story. Come you be lucky if you ever live that long. Respect our elders come on
The national Training center is where you train for the desert typically, but it seems like they command had the running exercises and drills to long. Sometimes you have zealous nco's who push soldier 2 far depriving them of sleep and if you don't see the black lights in front of you from the back of the vehicle in front you can get lost. We almost got killed because of an idiot giving us bad directions in the desert. We were heading to a tank range, luckily we fell into a ditch in our humvee
Not the news I wanted to hear.
They have simulated roll overs to give one the experience of trying to unbuckle. But not with fragment vest on and under water. It's more difficult especially if you're simply a rider and not familiar with the turret hatch or rear deck release process. Seems like only the driver, the Asst Driver and the gunner at top were probably the only ones to escape. They had all the visibility. Most drivers are the lowest ranking.
This happens way to often
