When I first got out of High School I worked at an industrial factory where they made swing sets. It was the worst job I would ever have in my career of several different jobs. It was so noisy, so smelly and so boring. There were several workers there who had been there for over 10 years working the production line and they were hoping for another 10 years too. Like freaking robots. I left that job and joined the merchant marine and worked at that , mostly, for the next 35 years. That factory job taught me to search out something different, I didn't last 3 months at the factory job I was going nuts there because of the boredom plus the pay was awful too !
Wow an amazing process ! I had just watched another video of a truck with a large number of these catch fire and then watch for 15 minutes while 30-35 gas bottles explode !
Working around Industrial Gas Cylinder all day I'm glad to get to see the process of how they are made. Always there's the threat that one will fall over and break off the valve and 0:23
Hi Joseph, can I ask where you are working? Is your company hiring? I have extensive high-pressure gas experience and I am now looking for a stable job in Canada and US. Thanks.
thats still a seam jackass. No seams of any kind by any form of welding are allowed in any high pressure compressed cylinders(which is what they said these are) at any supplier ive ever seen, not even the 1920s chinese and japanese cylinders we have at our yard have seams. Been that way for 110+ years. These wouldnt be legal to do anything more than fire extinguishers or maybe 100psi compressed air........ALL of ours are mandrel formed and then hot spun necks with tempering to evenly distribute the crystalline steel structure, then reheat treated
These are not true seamless cylinders they are made from tube which is made from plate rolled to form a tube and welded down the seam. A true seamless HP gas cylinder is made from a solid billet of steel which is then forged to produce a tube complete with a fully formed end. The neck is then spun on the other end forming a complete seamless gas container. All the other finishing operations are similar. They can also be formed using tube that has been made without a welded seam.
Worked for an industrial gas company for 32 years and this is the first ever video I have seen of hp cylinders being mad. Fascinating.
Seamless tube being welded on its seam?
Don't forget they also cool the pipe "slowly" by pouring water on it hahaha. Not so sure I trust these cylinders
Right 🤷🏼♂️
Yes, here at the Oxymoron Seamless Seam Welding Company we do our very best to emphasise the benefits of seamless seam welding!
I think tanks in the US are formed from a deep drawn flat metal blank and then the rest is about the same process.

How can you say Seamless?
2:36 the best edges are sealed by resistance welding...
What part of seamless did you not understand?

Where's the carbon fiber wrapping option?
who is using all the tanks?
poor AI voice over, you don't solder the ends together, they are welded.
скоро кизяками ослов будут топить свои печки без нашего газа 🤣🤣🤣🤣
у нас в Америке полно своего газа! и брысь с Американского ютуба на свой рутуб
a large investment of capital to produce quite a lot of cylinders per day, I guess there is a market for that many.
Counterline
Appallingly bad robo-voice narration.
they don't grow on tree's
Hypnotic ??? Geez ..get a life !
