FYI replacing the rear main seal is a HUGE job..transmission comes out , the exhaust has to come off .Then half the bolt on components have to come off the motor then the 3 piece oil pan can come out . then you can replace the seal . DO NOT even think about tryin to put the seal in with out removing the oil pans. you will ruin the $50 seal and if u don't , it will leak and then have to do it all over again . Believe me . hope this helps you or someone else .
@@4DoorDave I put mine in the shade tree mechanic way cuz that’s too much work and I didn’t feel like leaving the car in my driveway with the transmission out. Popped it in with a screwdriver and a hammer. That was in February, been dailying since and it is December with no leaks yet. We will see

I just got a free set of G37 coupe 19's from a guy that just had them sitting in his garage lol...... you should get the Fastbrakes 12.3" rear brake kit, uses stock calipers with brackets and 1st generation Honda Pilot rotors, mine is on the way...
I was thinking of getting that kit but the brembo rear caliper setup is in R&D right now so it should be out soon. But they are a33 power folding mirrors from eBay
Where did you go for the metal bodywork on the flares? I have a 99' max and my rear driver side got nasty rust, im willing to pay, ive been rebuilding the car slowly but bodywork is out of my league, TIA.
So did the VQ35DE Motor fit into the engine bay with the Stock Engine Mounts and stock Harness in this 2001 1st Gen Nissan Maxima was it plug and play or did you have to go buy or make custom engine mounts and get a new harness.

You got to mix and match man these cars don’t ever have anything direct bolt up now these days. I personally would look for a OEM wheel from eBay from like a skyline or something.

The adapters for the brembos are custom for a group buy in the maxima Facebook my5thgen group I’ve had them since 2014.

Depends on what you do you need a motor / convert 3.5 motor to 3.0 timing to use all existing 3.0 electronics or you could do a full swap
