I loved this, a very warm and affectionate exchange between intelligent reformers about the penal system, I learned a few things from this and the most damning is this theory that the higher echelons of prison operations don't want the positive changes in case the undeservables gain or profit, it's incredible that the only changes made were done so as a result of class distinction nearly 100 years ago, I was impressed with the sound bite of capital punishment metered out to those without the capital to stop it, I loved your tale of Albania David, BRAVO!
