Do you find the Blending Valve closes off the cold 100% when the solar water is say 45c ? I read somewhere (here? ruclips.net/video/m2-_x0XZUSM/видео.html ) some always feed a little cold in, thus needing hotter water tank temp for a shower/bath, in the winter.

I have thought about this, but I don't know how I could tell if there was always a little cold water seeping in. It's perfectly possible. The temperature is set using a spanner but there aren't any markings so all I can do is make it a bit hotter/colder and then test by measuring the temperature with a thermometer/my hands.
Even if the tank temperature states lower numbers (even less than 30) we can still have piping hot water from the taps due to the hot water naturally rising to the top of the tank where the feed is taken from. The temperature sensor is two thirds of the way down the cylinder. We have turned the valve up a bit since we had it installed, mostly because we enjoy a hotter shower.
