Guys on your higher request, *Here is the Armor Stand Fix for 1.20.2: ruclips.net/video/5mfmGariskw/видео.html* If you have any further questions then let us know!
FYI to anyone that wants to add more storage below the chests. Do that BEFORE putting the shulker in place. Any blocks you place up there will instantly be covered in shulkers. Learn from my mistakes. Still a good farm and works great otherwise
@@EmilRullar No, they aren’t considered full blocks and in my experience with it they don’t teleport to them. Only building blocks that are uncovered(without buttons) within a close area of the killing area. Trying to add storage after the farm was done is much more difficult. Leaving chests and hoppers exposed is fine
Just built this in my hardcore world in 1.19.2, and it's working. Some tips/advice for anyone looking to build this: - BRING MORE THAN 1 PISTON! The farm itself only uses 1 piston (per the materials list at the start of the vid), but you will need at least 1 other piston in your inventory to push certain blocks into place towards the end of building the farm. - At 3:51 he says to build a 10x10 area, but it's actually 11x11. The instructions are wrong and the measuring graphic he uses is very confusing. it should be 11x11 - Per the other comments here, use splash potions of healing to heal up the shulker before you put it in the farm. I actually forgot to do this, but I think my shulker had enough health that it didn't matter. - Pay close attention to how he uses the minecart to scoop up the shulker. Basically, you want the minecart to move up to a powered rail that's directly next to the block that the shulker is resting on. Hopefully you find shulkers on the ground level of the end city since they're the easiest to collect. - Bring a combination of milk buckets, potions of slow falling, potions of invis, chorus fruit. Be prepared to deal with getting hit by shulkers when you're moving them to the farm. - Before you start the farm, I recommend actually building some kind of scaffolding or a slab staircase to reach the double-chest storage. Just make sure that any scaffolding you use is topped with a slab, or else shulkers will teleport and rest on top of the scaffolding. Anyways, it's a cool farm and I'm going to afk for several hours so I can come home to the Overworld with more shulker shells than I'll ever need 😄 Edit: coming back to this a couple weeks later with some more info. - you can use any other light block in place of glowstone. Shroomlights, froglights, sea lanterns. Personally I used froglights - I want to re-emphasize the importance/necessity of having some kind of ladder to reach the storage PRIOR to starting the farm. It might just best to run a line of hoppers down from the chest, and then connect that to whatever storage you want to build. I was trying to build a scaffolding path to my chest and I messed up the farm by giving the shulker in the middle of the farm a place to teleport to. Thankfully I farmed a double-chest full of shulker shell stacks before breaking the farm, and it shouldn't be that hard to fix if I ever need more shells.
Good advice here. Just a heads up on the 10x10/11x11. If you look at the video again, it actually is 11x11, the guide counts 10 out from the already placed slab, the instructions are correct, but I agree it can be a bit confusing. The
Extremely important you bring splash regeneration and splash healing potions, and make sure the main shulker has 100% health before you turn the farm on. Also bringing a second shulker! The farm is amazing once it gets working. Thank you :D
do you splash him once the main shulker is in tthe little area with the piston? i think that was my problem is that my shulker died and the farm didnt start working since he just died
Just built this farm in survival 1.19.2 and can say is very fast and useful, thank you! Note: I transferred a shulker from an end city to the main end island and built it there, perfectly fine. Transferring the shulker was a hassle but it's worth it if you have swift sneak III. Also, the material list was missing a piston, and activator rail.
@@suega340 yea, the starting shulker tries to hit the snow golems, then hits itself to duplicate, and the duplicated shulker teleports on the scaffolding until it reaches the top part then the minecart picks it up to put them in one spot to die via entity cramming
Notice: Guide calls for 1 piston, but two are needed for the build. You can sneak back into the build and take the piston, as the second one is needed only temporarily.
Finally... one that is simple and most importantly, working, especially for farm beginners who wanted to tackle a "grand" project as this.. Muchas Gracias
U know that the farm design is stolen( no link in desc to the original vid ) and there was a tutorial with the permission of the designer, made 3 months before that. Just do a bit of research before going with a tutorial, many times they are just stolen from others
@@ChairmanMaoio bro being lazy isnt an excuse. Just typing shulker farm in search bar finds u the original tutorial that has mention and link for the designer which is ending credits. Its not my job to link creators in the comments but i feel obligated to let u know that something is stolen. Go move ur lazy ass somewhere else
Just built this in my hardcore world, by time i cleaned up my rail staircase and organized my inventory after finishing, I already had a stack of shells. I'll probably get another half a stack just while writing this comment lol. Would def recommend to anyone, this thing is awesome
I broke a few blocks and it works on 1.21.1. If you are having trouble, try breaking the slab in the center (13:24) and the glass, armor, slab and scaffolding above the hopper (14:28) to create a path for the bullets. Also, you might want to install a button. The bullets might break the minecart.
I really struggled with getting the shulker in the right place! Saw someone else comment that they transported two shulkers to the farm to start it and that worked for me as well. So if you're struggeling with the first shulker try bringing two :) Also I think it's just a matter of patience, it will teleport to the right place eventually.
Took some troubleshooting, especially with the bug in 1.20.4, but when I was eventually able to get it up and running, it worked beautifully. Thank you!
@@TiméoBizeul no. once you build the farm from the tutoria,l before moving shulkers in and turning it on, you need to follow the tutorial for 1.20.4 linked in the video description
Brilliant farm. Looks very complex but really isn't too difficult to follow. I've linked hoppers from the collection chest to the ground so I don't have to wait for the farm to stop (which takes for ever)
Absolutely a thing of beauty! The farm, of course; also the video, which is nearly flawless and easy to follow (with no sound!). My farm is up and running beautifully. A few notes (with the caveat for each point that perhaps I made a mistake in my build and that that's why I've seen the things I'm seeing): 1) Your instructions about how to get the shulker into the minecart are a little vague. My technique is to build a rail that runs next to the shulker, then turns and runs along another edge; put a cart on the tracks, push it and as it rounds the corner, the shulker pops into the minecart. (Not even sure running the track along two sides is needed; perhaps one would do the trick.) You show, but don't explain, how you're getting yours into the cart. If I were a user who didn't know how to get shulkers into carts, that could have been a frustration. (Your way looks better and simpler than mine, btw - although I still don't quite understand what you're doing.) 2) When it's time to bring the shulker next to the farm so it will teleport into it, I'd suggest being more explicit about where exactly those tracks that end with the activator rail should be: basically, the x/y/z relative to the farm. This didn't cause me issues, but only because I looked in great detail at the video to ensure I had it in (roughly) the right place. 3) Might be good to mention that hanging out near the farm when it's running can mean being attacked by shulker bullets. I'm thinking that if the farm were just a few blocks higher off the ground, this wouldn't be an issue? But it is an issue for me, occasionally. 4) The only true problem I've had, I've only had once, and it may be related to #3 above. I'd had a period of being attacked by shulkers from the farm. (Really just an annoyance as long as one isn't AFK, and has feather-falling or a potion.) Except once I was back on the ground, I looked up and noticed that the two minecarts were gone, so obviously the farm was no longer doing its thing. I don't know what happened to them, but I'm thinking they must have been hit by shulker bullets and fallen as items to somewhere where I didn't notice them. I put two more carts on the tracks and was back in business. Hasn't happened since. But perhaps some fencing (or whatever) could protect the carts from the bullets, I dunno. (If that's indeed what happened to the carts.) 5) Oh, and (this should have been the first point, but whatever): not an issue for me, but would probably be go to be explicit about how far the farm needs to be from any end-city structure. Anyway, FANTASTIC WORK. Both the farm, and the instructions! Awesome. Thanks!
@@ArcticCN Good Question :) ! I don't know exactly and I'm not in The End rn or I'd go and check for you. Basically I looked at the video, estimated how far that first center dirt block was placed from any End City structures, added about 30 blocks to that to be extra-safe, and put it there. There's no particular reason not to make that distance longer rather than shorter; all it affects as far as your build is concerned is now many rails you'll need to get the Shulker into the farm. Hope this helps.
@@Avocado876 I checked the wiki, and it says that the teleporting radius of shulkers is 17x17x17 (hence why the spawning platform is that large) so i would imagine that as long as the farm is ~20 blocks away from the end city (spawnable blocks), then the farm should be fine. I built mine 25 blocks away and it worked perfectly.
Awesome build. works fantastic. I decided to build over the void for looks, so it took a little longer than it should, but the returns are amazing. Tip, you might want to button the block railway you bring the shulker in. I had all the sides done but forgot the bottom, so of course he teleported to the bottom of the block under the rails. Easy to get him off but could have saved the time if i buttoned. edit: One thing I did see in freecam is that sometime some shells miss the hoppers and end up just sitting on the block behind the second hopper. Just in case you may want to put 3 hoppers instead of 2. But honestly, the farm produces so much you many be ok with the loss.
@mattcollier9771 I had to get in there quick and remove the block he was attached to. Could use and invisible pot, but it's fairly easy to get away with rockets and elytra. Should work out
This still works in 1.19.4, I did have some issues. Shulkers will transport to any block within the farm that has a full face exposed, the farm uses mostly half slabs, so this is mostly avoided. When I was transporting the Shulkers over, they kept going into the wrong spots ... when I went to go look, they were attaching to the bottom side of the stairs (which is a full block). When I was placing them, they were placed side ways instead of straight so the solid part of the block was exposed. When I pulled these off and fixed them, the problem was solved. Also, to get the Shulker (or Shulkers) into the cart, it's easiest to use an invisibility potion (with no armor on); this allowed me to build the railing right up them without them attacking each other or attacking me. I afk'd all night, I have a FULL chest of shulker shells. Great vid!! Also, side note, The Shulkers are not renewable; once you kill them, they are gone. So if you go through all the work to build the farm then you kill all the shulkers trying to get them into the farm, you have to move the farm or go further out to find another Shulker to pull into the farm.
I followed this tutorial 1 to 1, and had 54 shells in less then 5 mins! I would recommend crafting invisibility potions when you get the shulker in the minecart, keeps those pesky projectiles away. Anyways this thing works great.
You are truly the best. I have only made two farm EVER that have worked first try, no modifications, every single time. This and your Enderman farm. Both your farms.. I am truly astounded by how you are the only one who can get me farms that always work and I can follow.
Just built 2 of these side by side...Its hard to keep the hoppers going lmao, I love this! need about 3000 shulkers for a project and this is going to help SOOO much thank you!!!!!!
For people asking if this works in 1.21 , yes , still working, i try to do everything right , the only thing i change is the building block i use was a obsidian, but i dont really think that matters, in like 5-10 minutes i got 55 shells. Be careful with bringing the shulker to the farm , a invisiblity posion do the work more easy, one more thing i do is with the rails, im not sure about this but i make sure the last rail (the rail activator) was aligned with the chamber, again, i dont really think this really matter, another thing, make sure the armor stand is at the edge of block (4:54) i want to think this is really important. Im writing all of this bc i try like 2 shulkers farms and none of them work, but thanks god this work. One more last thing i want to say , i see a comment saying the piston was moving more fast in 19:21, im not sure about this is why works more fast but i join in the chamber beforon bringing the shulker and i try to flick the lever a couple times (in my case 5 times) and i think the piston was more fast , maybe this is why some people say this works slow, i hope this comment work for anyone.
Thank you, good Sir, for this magnificent tutorial! :D I could successfully implement your farm on our SMP and are happy as a clam with it. One word of advice for fellow Minecrafters, though: The list of needed material does NOT include the railroad system used to transport the Shulkers from the End City into the farm - the list is for the farm only. Also: You need one more piston and one more lever than stated in the material list - the reason is that these additional piston & lever are only used temporarily and will be removed from the actual farm once the second armour stand is in place. Many thanks to BlazeDude and good luck everyone with this farm!
I was sceptical at first knowing there were changes to some scaffolding farms in 1.19.4 but I'm playing 1.20 and it works amazingly. It is also a fairly easy build. Shulker gave me trouble (they always do) but third time was the charm. You deserve the like and subscribe!!!
Amazing tutorial, very easy to follow! I never thought I’d be able to build a shulker farm, but now I’m listening to the oddly musical shots and snowballs and feeling awesome about the stacks of shells I already have! Instantly subscribed for more.
Just built this in a 1.20.2 hardcore world. Can say it still works. Only issue I have is the armor stands breaking, not sure if they're supposed to or not. Still pulls in tons of shulker shells. 5 star build if you like doing easy-medium difficulty of building farms. (Got it to work first try with the first shulker, wanted to expand storage, and broke it. Took 4 more shulker bringing times to get it working again)
For those who wants to replace items I remove the target with redstone torch and glowstones, and it still works fine. I think these items are useless and replaceable. Thank you for the video, perfect design!!!
Works perfectly, thanks! I forgot to activate the final activator rail and doing that while the shulker was sitting on it was an experience, follow the video and do it *before* transporting your shulker haha
Insane farm, super easy to build and very efficient. Works like a charm on multyplayer servers too ( spigot, paper, etc. ) TIP : build a wall out of any solid block in front of those 2 shulkers at the entrance of the endcity while you bridge towards the farm, it will make your life much easier.
@@cfnaaa8049 it won't break, but that one-dimensional design type needs afk spot close to it to make it work (if you carry one or two shulkers to the overworld, build the same design and make a chunkloader next to it, it will work forever)
For anyone having trouble with shulker. You need to just move the shulker near the farm and then the shulker will teleport to the farm where the minecart will collect him and move them to a place where the shulkers were killed. Next, you just wait up to 5 minutes and then the shulker will teleport to the place where it needs to be. Btw a very efficient farm.
the 2nd shulkercraft :D the farm was very detailed not gonna lie and i really liked how simplistic the farm was other than shulkercrafts farm. I appreciate it. Thanks a lot!
Awesome build! I'm not much of a builder but for those out there you can surround the output chest with water and put hoppers all the way down (I prefer mine an alternate of hopper and barrel) and build a small hut :)
I made this farm in my survival world 1.19.3 and i forgot to leave first 8 scafolding and i started without leaving them and when my farm started working all the shulkers were teleporting on the ground, i spawn proofed it then it was completely fixed. Great farm and crazy loot
Wow, this was a challenge getting the shulkers in the right spot (19:24). I ended up breaking some blocks the rails were on (the ones part of the farm in addition to the temporary rails I used to transport the shulker) since shulkers teleported there instead of the right spot. Eventually, one shulker got in the right spot, and then I knew all of this would be worth it in the end.
@@kayliestevens5438 yeah, apparently it works way better if you bring two at once. Like, you get one inside and then another one, and one will eventually lock. When this happens, press the lever and wait for the two shulks to dupe a lot (for the farm to start, they're supposed to be 24 behind the glass block. After this, make sure the shulks can only teleport on the farm: check if there were weird teleports and if so, kill the escaped shulker and fill the zone with buttons. This is probably going to happen on the outside of the snowmen zone. After a while you should start seeing dying shulks
Okay, So I've been following along with this tutorial for in my survival server now and I have some constructive criticisms and critiques if you were open to hearing them. This isn't meant to be disrespectful or insulting. I'm not looking to hurt anyone's feelings. I only aim to offer feedback, that, I personally feel if you took onboard and applied would see more people following, liking, subscribing, engaging.... paying your bills. 1. This build requires more than 3 shulker boxes full of materials. Every time you make a cut in your video (AND YOU MAKE A CRAZY AMOUNT OF CUTS) , I am walking up and down a temporary ladder structure to retrieve materials from localized storage. So when you make a cut, place 5 snow golems. Make a cut. Place a trap door and a stair. Make a cut, place a target block and a torch. That's 3 trips up and down flights of stairs. for me. What takes you 5 seconds in your video, takes me 3 minutes. Because you're in creative mode. And every time you make your cut, I can see infinite quantity of material A and material B on your bar. Which I need to watch ahead to see if I need 1 stack or 6 of in ordert to follow along. Then, I need to climb down a ladder to fetch the materials, climb back up, rewind the video AND THEN I can follow along. But if you were building this in survival, in a video with fewer cuts or edits, we'd see you grab the materials you use for what would be the next 3-10 cuts in this video. One trip up and down the ladder. By the way, I've slowed your video to 0.25x And with all the trips I need to do up and down my ladder, I STILL need to pause your video. I've been watching your 21 minute video for about 35 mins. And I'm 4 mins in. 2. Every time you make a cut and you change your orientation, I, as a player following along need to reorient myself as well. You're building this 10 blocks off the ground, in the end. with key features in your range of vision. A bit difficult in the end under the best of circumstances, But I'm building mine 140 blocks above deep ocean in the overworld, so there's no key identifying features aside from that target block (for now) I'd recommend speeding up your footage to skip the "idle" time instead of making a transition or cut. That way, we at home following along can see you turn around or move to the opposite side of the build. 3. please use clear, concise and consistent instructions. Rather than saying build out 3, create a 10x5 square (which is actually a 11x5 square) say build out 10 blocks. I had to do the step at 3:54 twice. which meant I lost slabs. 4. Please, for the love of god, more appropriate music, or none at all. Minecraft is a chill and relaxed game. It's soundtrack is ochestral/ slow/ chill. I get you can't use Minecraft's OST for copyright reasons, but there's no reason to abandon the genre. Look at similar content creators like KelpMC ect. You're blasting music that teens would listen to to psych them up for the night clubs or a fight club. Not that I miss much by muting your video as 5.You don't talk in your videos. Let your audience hear your voice. By not talking to your viewers, we're all forced to read. I would just read a wikipedia article or text only tutorial with gifs if I wanted to read about how to bu9ild this farm. I am watching your video because I want to see and hear how it's built I want how it works explained to me, I want to learn . I understand there are reasons for not wanting to vocally instruct people on the internet. You might be young, or be self concious or have a thick local accent. The lack of vocal instruction doesn't help. There's always going to be judgmental people. They might make comments about how they don't like your voice, or that you're a girl, or your accent's funny, or whatever. Ignore them. If they don't like it, they can make the choice to mute the video and read the subtitles. But by not talking, you've taken that choice away from your viewers. And honestly, I normally click off. But not many other creators have covered this design, surprisingly. 6. There's a complete lack of understanding what I'm doing as I'm doing it. As I'm building this, I have no idea why, or what it's going to do. I feel like a blind person, following a text to voice recipe, fumbling around, and guessing what ingredients I'm throwing in the pot by touch 7. Better use of chapters. Ties in with #6. As I said before. I'm 4 minutes into the video. I don't know where abouts in the farm the storage system is going to be. Where the killing/collection chamber is. I'm just hoping that the "center" of the farm we marked out and built off of will be relevant, and that hope is dwindling. I can't skip ahead to the collection chamber and build segments of this farm out of sequence because your chapters are: 0:00 - 0:15 "intro" 0:16 - 0:24 "Required items" 0:24 - 18:00 "Build tutorial" As an aside. I appreciate that you cover how to bring the shulker. 8. When you fast forward your footage at the repetitive tasks I.E placing the slabs and scaffolding (Which is fine, and honestly appreciated) you really need to let the final layout before proceeding to the next step sit on screen for a little more than .05 of a second. 9. PLEASE do double takes when you make mistakes. I was stumped for about 5 minutes when you made the mistake about the scaffolding placement north of the target block which is vacant if you pause the video at 4:42. But then after you cut footage and transition, pausing the video at 4:43 you placed scaffolding there. and it was so difficult to place where I went wrong. I thought I missed the placement of a stair. And Because I don't know the importance of everything I rewound and played 20 seconds of footage (again, at 0.25 x speed, watching like a hawk to see if I missed anything to discover there's just an inconsistency between your litany of cuts and transtitions. You might think this gives the illusion of something with high quality or production value, but honestly it's just frustrating. 10. It's REALLY important to specify what edition of minecraft this farm is compatible with. Just by paying VERY close attention to the textures, I'm quite sure this is Java. But if this is a bedrock only farm, or a java only farm, and the wrong players follow it... that's a waste of time nobody should have to go through. This is all I have to say for the moment when I'm nearly 5 mins into your video (even though I've been here at least 2 hrs at this point), I might edit and update this comment as more things come up. But I feel like 9 non-nitpicky items is a lot at this point. Best of luck with your youtube career. I look forward to finding your videos in the future and seeing if they've improved
Had to stop following and look for a different tutorial. At the 5:23 mark. You turn on hitboxes so we can see the outline of the armor stand. You make mention it needs to be on the edge of the block. You don't look at the block underneath so we can see what you mean by this. I followed you exactly. But my armor stand is not on the edge, the hitbox is. But the base overhangs and is on the scaffolding block under the fence gate. I am unable to determine whether or not it is in the correct position and it's so frustrating being unable to confirm.
16:36 In this moment I don't have enough scaffolds Also, due to the fact that I took only 1 piston, as indicated in the initial list, I had to go down twice and break the piston in the building to stuff the armor stand first, and then the glass
Great video, just build it on my small server. For anyone trying to build it on a server, I can recoment that the observer clock is made using only 4 observers in stead of 6. Had Big problems using it with the slower clock. FYI. This was in Minecraft 1.19.4 on a Vanilla server.
@@mangobah before it was a 2*3 grid of observers, now you just take out the middle 2 ones and push it together to make a 2*2 of observers instead. In this case every observer is rotated 90 degrees compared to det ones next to it. Where as when using the 6 observers in a 2*3, you would have 2 sets of observers pointing the same direction, now you have none when using 4.
@@xiethro thats great to hear. I to spend a long time with it not working until I discovered the solution. Great to hear that it saved you some time :)
Built this and had it working first try on 1.20 paper server, Also added the continuous Hopper and cart chain leading down to an AFK spot in the ocean ! Thank you so much for this awesome Tutorial :)
Nice video ! I still have an issue as my shulker keeps tping into the killing chamber from the middle block ? Does anyone have an idea abt this please ?
To anyone having issues placing the shulker in the middle, you have to place the armor stand literally as he did in the video, including the same cross-air position. If you do that it should work like a charm.
I placed the armor stands exactly as in the video. Transported 2 shulkers to the farm and neither one is going to the middle. I've waited awhile. This is the biggest pain about shulker farms: getting the shulkers to go where they're supposed to. :(
@@maxpeck1962 thank you for the answer. I build another Farm because i had only one Shulker left on the place where i build this Farm. How it is working
@@carinaseibold7713 I gave up on this design, even though everyone raves about it (it's Ending Credits design). I opted for an overworld portal based farm rather than keep troubleshooting or rebuilding this one. Maybe next time I need a shulker farm I'll go straight to one of Ending Credits tutorials.
Ah, explanation was a big help. I had entity cramming off. Working really nicely. The enthusiasm for shulker hunting went out the window when I just want them for bulk storage so this will be very nice to have.
I built this in 1.19.2, works great, I have a Shulker box full of Shulker Shells after a couple hours afking. Getting the Shulker into the farm was a nightmare though, I learned the hard way that you can't push a Shulker in a Minecart like you can with other mobs. Luckily I packed plenty of Splash Healing and invisibility potions. I hope that this farm never breaks because I's have no idea how to fix it...
I made this farm in 1.20.4 in survival with the fix, I’ve spent about 2 hours trying to fix it but nothing has worked I have 1 shulker left at my end city before the farm is useless. I’ve made the farm once to make sure it perfect. The shulker just doesn’t stay at the piston.
found it, make sure your shulker is fully healed, with splash healing pots if need be, and assure that when he is healed, the dupes do not have a place to tp to
THX working overworld 1.21, It wasnt at first for me cause my shulker was low hp (hit during travel). Make sure you throw him a regen potion before releasing it in the machine.
Extremely awesome farm built in 1.19.3 and no issues, also IF YOUR SHULKER HAS TAKEN DAMAGE USE SPLASH POTION OF HEALING, IF SHULKER IS NOT AT FULL HEALTH, THE FARM WILL NOT WORK AND THE SHULKER WILL DIE
For those whos shulkers tp in the middle, but every now and then pop back out, just let the farm run for about half an hour and eventually when he hits himself a few times it will start workin. The version im playing on is 1.21 but the same should apply to any newer versions.
Can i leave the farm on? when for example i built it in end city and i will go to overworld while it being turned on, will it still work or do i have to just afk next to the farm
the shulker teleported into the chamber first and i started panicking but eventually it teleported to where it was supposed to be and the farm started working! this took me the whole day to build thanks blazedude for this simple yet complex build
Great how to. Wish there was more description about what does what to better understand the technical stuff. But over all the farm pumps a lot of shells. I noticed you have a few shells on the bottom platform after creating this farm. Probably some more hoppers.
Build was easy to follow, I feel like I've missed something though. The original shulker is duplicating, but its dying or teleporting away at some point, and I'm not getting anything in the chest. EDIT: I absolutely DID miss something, and a review of the parts list was my clue and my realization that the shulker's weren't teleporting to the chamber. I did not use Activator rails on the center of the powered minecart lines on the top of the farm. I just fixed that and I'm posting this edit before I actually verify the farm is working now, but I bet that will do it. Thank you! Second Edit: That was exactly the issue. Working great!
What does the piston do? When I start the piston moving, it doesn’t cycle as fast as yours does at 19:30 in the video. I’m wondering if that is affecting my rates at all.
hopefully someone had the same problem and knows what is going on. i started the farm sended the shulker in, he is in place and the first few seconds it moved a shulker up through the platforms and got picked up by the minecarts and put in place. now ive been standing there from 20+ blocks distance looking at it and its not spawning for the last 15-30 min idk whats going on.

Great farm, 1st shulker farm ive built and works nice,. i would suggest putting a buckets of water under the chest and having invisibility potions to collect shells from the chest,.
i'm playing on 1.20.1 and i cannot, for the life of me, get the shulker to get into place. it just teleports around until it gets to the top, then gets put into the top armor stand by the minecarts. if i destroy the minecarts, and cover the scaffolding at the top, it tps to the top of the farm and just sits there. even if i switch to survival and attack it, itll let me kill it instead of tping, even when it cant attack me back. if i bring in the shulker low enough that it cant reach the rest of the farm, it tps onto the rail next to the activator rail and sits there. somehow. i built the area as shown in the video, and the piston is firing. i can use a spawn egg to get the shulker where its supposed to go, but i need this farm for my hardcore world, so that doesn't help me. what am i supposed to do?

I haven't taken a look at the explanation, but I'm assuming a lot of this is provoking the initial shulker into constantly attacking, since hitting shulkers with their own attacks causes them to multiply, and a lot of the rest of getting this farm to work is making sure they teleport only where you want them to with blocks that also prevent spawning.
I built the 1.20.4 version of the farm but the armour stand at the minecarts just kept on breaking! Have been working on the problem for days now pleaase help! Once the shulker goes in the farm it instantly goes in the minecart and stays there for good :(
Works on "One Block-1-16-4". you can run hoppers all the way down from under the glass side of the chest (I left chest up, so 100% of original build was same). It took little under 2 min for results to start. Once they started showing, 6 stacks +20 in under 10min. also built it less then 60 blocks away from Spawning block. make sure you don't build it within 10 blocks of any other spawnable surface. Good luck
I love your toutorials, they are easy and fun! I have one problem: these stupid shulkers dont teleport to this hole next to the piston, but just everywhere else and they even float bruh (under the rails);-; all the shulkers are dead now and i dont know what the hell i built wrong ;-; can you pls help...
I build the farm but i am not getting the shulker in the correct place. I have 6 shulkers in the farm, but they all go on top of the farm and not in the designed spot. Any ideas of what I can do? Update i didn’t place 2 activator rails near the hoppers. It works like a charm now
Went back to where he put rails near the hoppers… He just said put rails in this order, but he should definitely say it had to be detector rails. No mention of that.

Will the shulker teleport to blocks like chest and hoppers?
@@EmilRullar No, they aren’t considered full blocks and in my experience with it they don’t teleport to them. Only building blocks that are uncovered(without buttons) within a close area of the killing area. Trying to add storage after the farm was done is much more difficult. Leaving chests and hoppers exposed is fine
@@johnhollister2236 Thank you for the fast response. I've just finished building this and it's working perfectly!
Any tips to add it later?....I wanna add more storage for longer afk session....but dont know how to do so
Just built this in my hardcore world in 1.19.2, and it's working.
Some tips/advice for anyone looking to build this:
- BRING MORE THAN 1 PISTON! The farm itself only uses 1 piston (per the materials list at the start of the vid), but you will need at least 1 other piston in your inventory to push certain blocks into place towards the end of building the farm.
- At 3:51 he says to build a 10x10 area, but it's actually 11x11. The instructions are wrong and the measuring graphic he uses is very confusing. it should be 11x11
- Per the other comments here, use splash potions of healing to heal up the shulker before you put it in the farm.
Anyways, it's a cool farm and I'm going to afk for several hours so I can come home to the Overworld with more shulker shells than I'll ever need 😄
Edit: coming back to this a couple weeks later with some more info.
- you can use any other light block in place of glowstone. Shroomlights, froglights, sea lanterns. Personally I used froglights
- I want to re-emphasize the importance/necessity of having some kind of ladder to reach the storage PRIOR to starting the farm. It might just best to run a line of hoppers down from the chest, and then connect that to whatever storage you want to build.
I was trying to build a scaffolding path to my chest and I messed up the farm by giving the shulker in the middle of the farm a place to teleport to. Thankfully I farmed a double-chest full of shulker shell stacks before breaking the farm, and it shouldn't be that hard to fix if I ever need more shells.
can i build this farm on my overworld instead?
@@iotag3268 yes but its hard to get it in over world
Good advice here. Just a heads up on the 10x10/11x11.
If you look at the video again, it actually is 11x11, the guide counts 10 out from the already placed slab, the instructions are correct, but I agree it can be a bit confusing.

build this farm in 30 minutes and it's working great!
I can’t place scaffolding on slabs on 1.20.1
Absolutely a thing of beauty! The farm, of course; also the video, which is nearly flawless and easy to follow (with no sound!). My farm is up and running beautifully. A few notes (with the caveat for each point that perhaps I made a mistake in my build and that that's why I've seen the things I'm seeing):
1) Your instructions about how to get the shulker into the minecart are a little vague. (Your way looks better and simpler than mine, btw - although I still don't quite understand what you're doing.)
2) When it's time to bring the shulker next to the farm so it will teleport into it, I'd suggest being more explicit about where exactly those tracks that end with the activator rail should be: basically, the x/y/z relative to the farm.
(If that's indeed what happened to the carts.)
5) Oh, and (this should have been the first point, but whatever): not an issue for me, but would probably be go to be explicit about how far the farm needs to be from any end-city structure.
Anyway, FANTASTIC WORK. Both the farm, and the instructions! Awesome. Thanks!
Bro if I mention little minor details then some people would prefer skipping that part btw Thanks for your opinion.
@@BlazeDude Well, again: fantastic work - can't imagine how much trial and error, not to mention redstone knowledge, went into this. Thanks again!
how far away did you build it?

A bit difficult in the end under the best of circumstances, But I'm building mine 140 blocks above deep ocean in the overworld, so there's no key identifying features aside from that target block (for now)
I'd recommend speeding up your footage to skip the "idle" time instead of making a transition or cut.
Not that I miss much by muting your video as
5.You don't talk in your videos.
I feel like a blind person, following a text to voice recipe, fumbling around, and guessing what ingredients I'm throwing in the pot by touch
I can't skip ahead to the collection chamber and build segments of this farm out of sequence because your chapters are:
0:00 - 0:15 "intro"
0:16 - 0:24 "Required items"
0:24 - 18:00 "Build tutorial"
As an aside.
This is all I have to say for the moment when I'm nearly 5 mins into your video (even though I've been here at least 2 hrs at this point),
I might edit and update this comment as more things come up.
Okay, Thanks for sharing your opinion 😊
@@BlazeDude 💀my man aint caring all he said thanks for the opinion
Its not that deep
Nothing was to fast for me, the cuts are fine too
16:36 In this moment I don't have enough scaffolds
Also, due to the fact that I took only 1 piston, as indicated in the initial list, I had to go down twice and break the piston in the building to stuff the armor stand first, and then the glass
Great video, just build it on my small server.
For anyone trying to build it on a server, I can recoment that the observer clock is made using only 4 observers in stead of 6.
Had Big problems using it with the slower clock.
FYI. This was in Minecraft 1.19.4 on a Vanilla server.
How do you make it with only 4?
@@mangobah before it was a 2*3 grid of observers, now you just take out the middle 2 ones and push it together to make a 2*2 of observers instead. In this case every observer is rotated 90 degrees compared to det ones next to it. Where as when using the 6 observers in a 2*3, you would have 2 sets of observers pointing the same direction, now you have none when using 4.
@@KasperKrag I tinkered for 15 minutes and was deep diving and your comment fixed my farm on a 1.19.3 server thank you :)
@@xiethro thats great to hear. I to spend a long time with it not working until I discovered the solution. Great to hear that it saved you some time :)
is this in case of server lag and would having 4 observers in any way hurt the farm

Amazing farm! wanted to build it on a server w/ no elytra's but it was simple and super easy. The farm works great without ANY issues!
Oh nice!
Finally a farm that works thx!
This farm works great! Thanks for the video. Took a little over an hour to build, and it was definetly worth it
well explained, simple and easy to build and most important works instantly, great video
Nice video ! I still have an issue as my shulker keeps tping into the killing chamber from the middle block ? Does anyone have an idea abt this please ?
Built java 1.19.4 - shulker went right where it belonged and had a couple stacks in about 20 minutes - works like a charm
To anyone having issues placing the shulker in the middle, you have to place the armor stand literally as he did in the video, including the same cross-air position. If you do that it should work like a charm.
How can i See the right Position? I did it like he does in the Video i think
U can check by waiting for the shulker to enter. If it takes too long, place the armor stand again exactly like he does it.
The enthusiasm for shulker hunting went out the window when I just want them for bulk storage so this will be very nice to have.
how can you turn that on?
@@creepy5978 gamerule maxEntityCramming. The default is 24 but if you set it to 0 you can turn it off.
It took me two hours and 7 milk buckets to get the stupid Shulker in place but it works pretty well. :D Thanks for the good tutorial
I made this farm in 1.20.4 in survival with the fix, I’ve spent about 2 hours trying to fix it but nothing has worked I have 1 shulker left at my end city before the farm is useless. I’ve made the farm once to make sure it perfect. The shulker just doesn’t stay at the piston.
did you find a solution, currently spending many hours looking for solutions
found it, make sure your shulker is fully healed, with splash healing pots if need be, and assure that when he is healed, the dupes do not have a place to tp to
You are the best! Thank you so much, worked like a charm! New well deserved subscriber here :)
Welcome!
Missing 1 piston, 1 lever, 1 slab, and 29 scaffolding
THX working overworld 1.21, It wasnt at first for me cause my shulker was low hp (hit during travel). Make sure you throw him a regen potion before releasing it in the machine.
Extremely awesome farm built in 1.19.3 and no issues, also IF YOUR SHULKER HAS TAKEN DAMAGE USE SPLASH POTION OF HEALING, IF SHULKER IS NOT AT FULL HEALTH, THE FARM WILL NOT WORK AND THE SHULKER WILL DIE
How does the farm not work? Do shulkers still spawn? My shulkers seem to be teleporting out of the kill chamber.
Thank you! This comment was a life saver!
@@ShadowgamerRS seems like you're having a a separate issue make sure you followed the tutorial exactly
Make a chunk loader to keep the farm running forever.
@@BlazeDude Is there a way to make a chunk loader in the end, or can this farm be built in the overworld?
the shulker teleported into the chamber first and i started panicking but eventually it teleported to where it was supposed to be and the farm started working! this took me the whole day to build thanks blazedude for this simple yet complex build
Working great!
how do you leave the farm- do you normally turn it off and fly home or do you fly home without turning it off?
Did you build this on Java 1.20.1?
@@zineulia Yes!
@@patrikvojta5609 I leave it on, it works as soon as I fly back into range.
What does the piston do? When I start the piston moving, it doesn’t cycle as fast as yours does at 19:30 in the video. I’m wondering if that is affecting my rates at all.
Mine isnt as fast either but its working fine
it is totally amazing, thx thx thx for that amazing Tutorial from the shulker farm, it works incredible good!
hopefully someone had the same problem and knows what is going on. i started the farm sended the shulker in, he is in place and the first few seconds it moved a shulker up through the platforms and got picked up by the minecarts and put in place. now ive been standing there from 20+ blocks distance looking at it and its not spawning for the last 15-30 min idk whats going on.
this probably wont help as it is ages after however for anyone who comes, like me, looking for answers here is the solution I used: make sure your shulker is fully healed, with splash healing pots if need be, and assure that when he is healed, the dupes do not have a place to tp to
Great design and good explaining how to build this farm. Works on 1.19.2 --> Rates are good!!!!
+1 Piston +6 Lever +1 Stack Scaffolding +more Rails, powered rails, minecart and activator rail for the shulkerhighway
Don't mistake detector rails for activator rails like I did...
PLEASE make sure to not only count the blocks on the finished building, but also count the blocks needed while building like the extra scaffolding and the items for the railway
Great farm, 1st shulker farm ive built and works nice,. i would suggest putting a buckets of water under the chest and having invisibility potions to collect shells from the chest,.
i'm playing on 1.20.1 and i cannot, for the life of me, get the shulker to get into place. it just teleports around until it gets to the top, then gets put into the top armor stand by the minecarts. if i destroy the minecarts, and cover the scaffolding at the top, it tps to the top of the farm and just sits there. even if i switch to survival and attack it, itll let me kill it instead of tping, even when it cant attack me back. if i bring in the shulker low enough that it cant reach the rest of the farm, it tps onto the rail next to the activator rail and sits there. somehow. i built the area as shown in the video, and the piston is firing. i can use a spawn egg to get the shulker where its supposed to go, but i need this farm for my hardcore world, so that doesn't help me. what am i supposed to do?
i was here before you blew up, underrated 🔥
REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE RAIL SYSTEM, I LOST SOME SHULKERS FOR THAT REASON.
NICE FARM, LIKE AND SUB
Great farm, works like a charm! Followed a few comments below to avoid some issues.
hey, the shulker doesnt teleport to observer clock piston room, but directly to kill chamber and it doesnt die, how to fix that?
this probably wont help as it is ages after however for anyone who comes, like me, looking for answers here is the solution I used: make sure your shulker is fully healed, with splash healing pots if need be, and assure that when he is healed, the dupes do not have a place to tp to
Thank you so much, for this video this farm is really super just wanted to say a quick thank you.
A little addition, shulkers only multiply when they are hit with their own bullet and their shells are fully opened.
I built the 1.20.4 version of the farm but the armour stand at the minecarts just kept on breaking! Have been working on the problem for days now pleaase help! Once the shulker goes in the farm it instantly goes in the minecart and stays there for good :(
It should be fixed now
Why is your piston firing so much faster at the end of the video than when you first made the observer clock? should it be going faster?
lol no idea, same here
Works on "One Block-1-16-4". you can run hoppers all the way down from under the glass side of the chest (I left chest up, so 100% of original build was same). It took little under 2 min for results to start. Once they started showing, 6 stacks +20 in under 10min. also built it less then 60 blocks away from Spawning block. make sure you don't build it within 10 blocks of any other spawnable surface. Good luck
? What is "one 1-16-4"?
I really love the editing in the video !! its really easy to follow !!

Went back to where he put rails near the hoppers… He just said put rails in this order, but he should definitely say it had to be detector rails. No mention of that.
