    Wow, what a perfect representation of my city Rabat. I moved to the US two years ago and I’m missing my hometown so much and I’m planning a visit this year with my boyfriend and was looking up good places to show him in Rabat. Glad I found your video super helpful and detailed! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼

    Was there 5 years ago. I lived in the medina there while I went to school and taught English. If you ever get back there, go to etabib's in the medina...great sandwiches, super clean, and really nice tea. Usually its fliiyu, but its awesome.

      Thanks for the great tip Kelly! I didn’t get a chance to get down to the Medina area but will definitely go when I’m back a few months from now. Cheers! 🙏🏼😁

      @@TomSolfesterits kinda hard to explain where it is, but its down by the Jewlery vendorsin the souk (they call it souika: swayka. Its down one of the side streets and you can see it because it has a little fat chef sign outside.
      Additionally, if you get up in Agdal off sharia faransa I strongly recommend Sahbi's. Great for breakfast as they have quite a few options as well as drink options. Afternoon snacks from there I always get the chicken bastilla. Up the road going south bound. A little past the tram stop kinda diagonally across thev street from Pizzaki.
      And another place I like to go besides the café in Oudayas is a small window place across the main avenue from Jami3 albadr. Its in the square there. Great place for harcha or milwi. Cheers.

      To be honest, I have many places to recommend in Rabat. I spent a LOT of time there. In fact my profile picture is in by the leather place on M5 in the Medina. It was a particularly sweet cat.

    lovely; I took refuge at the Oudaais and Chellah, during April(Easter vacation), to cram for exams; sometimes, at other times; I was a young girl; I was given space away from anyone who would, perhaps, do anything; My Dad's friends just gave me a safe haven. I am for ever grateful to all. My Dad was a great Gardener, Ahmed Dades, from the Vallee of the roses. 'ja Ouahmane Dades.

    This is only Rabat. Where is the blue city?
    The blue city is located in north of the country 5 hours away from Rabat

    • @TomSolfester
      @TomSolfester  3 года назад

      This vlog is what the title suggests, a Blue City in Rabat, for those who do not have time or means to go north. If you want to watch a vlog about the Blue City in Chefchaouen, maybe type that in the search field next time? 🤷🏻‍♂️🙏🏼

      @@TomSolfester hhh ok my friend, I thought you mixed up between that neighborhood in Rabat and the blue city in North.
