You're not thick and slow. This video is exactly what I wanted to watch, to know what my blades do before I chop off all my fingers experimenting. Clear and concise video. Thank you :-)
It's better to slice with firm tomatoes as it makes it easier for you! For crisps, just use your original slicer attachment with a potato. You could make very thin fries with the dicer & shredder attachment but you'd probably be better off getting the Nova Dicer for chips. Hope that helps :)
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I consistently grate my fingers with this thing! It's so sharp and very hard to grate/slice the whole thing you're cutting. Even using the guard you end up wasting a lot and I can't seem to get the fork trick to work. All in all I regret buying this. I have more success with less sharp/dangerous graters!
I use mine to make batches of coleslaw and air fried vegetable crisps. It is easy and fast. With the stumps of 'waste' vegetable you mentioned ... I know there is going to be some waste (you can't put your fingers too close to the blades, so there is always going to be some waste), I put my 'end bits' in a pot and make delicious vegetable soup. No waste! :-)
Hi, we have different prices for different sets. You can see: www.novauk.com/nova-slicer/ - this complete dicer set is £59.99 at the moment, but we do smaller sets :) Thanks
You are allowed to grate more than one slice of cheese! But if you're saying that we didn't show the 'Grater & Zester Attachment' enough, it's because it does what it says on the tin. You can use it to zest oranges, lemons & limes or you can grate chocolate, ginger or hard/soft cheeses plus much more! We didn't want to take up too much time showing it all as it works the same way as a normal grater and this is a tips video. Thank you for your feedback though!
