Electric ⚡️ will win
When they all set off Mallard was the quickest at pulling away and She HUMILIATED the Class 67 with Royal Train and the SNCF TGV. But at exactly 4:51, the TGV caught up with the Royal train and with Mallard not being very far from said Royal Train, The TGV eventually caught Her [Mallard] up at 6:14, But at 6:20 Mallard was overtaken (shock! horror!) by the Royal Train leaving the FASTEST STEAM LOCOMOTIVE OF ALL TIME. (126mph down Stoke Bank on 3rd July 1938) stone dead last.
Then the TGV arrived at the destination and stopped exactly at 7:20.
But at the last moment, Mallard caught up with the Royal Train and then It was a very tense race for second place.
Finally Mallard not only overtook the Royal Train, but stopped at 8:48, with the Royal Train stopping at 8:49. And Mallard gave the Royal Train a taste of its own medicine.
The results
1. SNCF TGV
2. LNER Gresley A4 4-6-2 Pacific No. 4468 Mallard
3. Class 67 with the Royal Train.
In my opinion this race was unfair as it had two British locomotives not three. If the SNCF TGV had been replaced with a British electric locomotive, Eg. a Class 395, (as it was steam v diesel v electric) the story could have been different.

The diesel wasn’t the fastest diesel unlike mallard and tgv
395 would've shot off like a bullet.
What I learned:
- TGV has poor acceleration, great speed.
- Mallard has great acceleration, meh speed
- Class 67 is bad at both (no offence, Class 67, don't run me over)

Instead of using the TGV you should have used the Pendolino so It is 3 British trains and not 2 British and french
The Pendolino is Italian though. The diesel loco has a DB logo on it too.... It's 1 British, 1 German and 1 French
Instead of the pendo maybe class 80 voyager so its fair on mallard and the 67

But not all tank engines are for shunting some tank engines are for passengers but some but that's really rare
Should've used Class 43 for the present as the rest of the trains are express trains.

@@martywilson697 But don't forget that the others have VVVT power setup, which is like AWD on trains. Mallard, however, is only locomotive pulling the whole train, which is like FF setup on cars.
Mallard has one coach because It is her support coach.
Because it’s one of the fastest trains in the world and it needs an extra coach to let the others have a chance

From a bit of research, I found that it was just built constructed on several locations? Like, I don't see what's so special. I will add, I am not knowledgeable in any way, shape, or form when it comes to trains

Thats straight up unfair, since super class 47 is EXTREMLY POWERFUL, it wont be used, even though it barely derails, tho breaking up at 399-450 Mph.

Why is there only one of each power? You should put more trains in the race, like maybe 6 steam locomotives , 6 diesel locomotives, and 6 electric locomotives. Maybe next time you have a race with steam diesel and electric trains, you could race that many. Does anyone else have a suggestion? Leave a comment saying how many trains you think should be in the next race.
The class 67 is my faverite deasle locomotive

You should combine speed test hill and racing. Trains will go down hills while racing each other.
