I have fished this place for 11yrs now love it but got a lot busier in last 2 yrs tho 1000 bream to every carp nothing big in there but rewarding when u do catch appreciate not naming venue a lot don't consider other anglers when they vlog (Jon tosh) lol especially where we live seems like 1,000 anglers per piece of water in part of country we live tight lines might see u on bank sometime👍
Cheers Harvey. I can see getting through the bream is going to be a big issue but part of the challenge all the same. I have learnt not to name venues mate, i think Redhouse got busy off the back of my vlogs. I am hoping to get down there tonight (friday). Might give nursing home end a go. come say hi if your about.😀🎣👍
Hi Mate. It's a water that i never even knew about but its only 20 minutes from my house. Im looking forward to putting some time in on there and hopefully get a few for the camera. Thanks for watching. 😀🎣👍
Another excellent video. Different from the usual ones. Interesting to see how you get on. I am a massive fan of all the Baitworks products, top quality and very nice people to deal with. Good luck .
Hi Christopher. Thank you for your comment. It is very much appreciated. Cant go wrong with the Baitworks mate. The service and bait are all excellent.🎣😀👍
Hi Nicholas. Thanks for your comment mate. It deffinately is going to be a challenge and a lot of working out but yes it will be a massive achievement to catch so nice carp from there. 🎣😁👍
great video. but maybe you can answer this for me. I've never understood setting up your banksticks in the water. I understand wading out into the water to cast to where you want to be, but why not walk them back to the bank so that you dont have to wade out every time you get a bite? I see alot of people set up like this, and i cant figure out how there is any benefit to it.
Hi mate. Thank you for your comment. That is also a good. Question. The reason I had my rods so far out in the water is because my right hand rod was fished tight to the right hand margin but there was a tree sticking out into the water to my right so I had to put my rods out into the water to clear the tree otherwise my line would have got snagged in the branches. I hope that answers your question. 👍😁🎣
I enjoyed this...gonna have a look around a pretty big pit myself this year. Got a ticket but I'll see how daunted I feel by it when I walk around before getting the rods out 🤣
Hi Paula Thank you for watching. With so much out of bounds water, this place really has got me interested. Total unknown stock to plus fish coming and going through the Trent, it doesn't get anymore challenging. Just need to up my casting game now. If you get chance to fish a big water, it can only up your skills. Good luck 🎣😁👍🤞
Cheers Mike. Got to love a big pit mate 😁. I'm sure if I keep plowing through the snotties, my quarry will make an apperence. Bigger hook baits deffinatly needed. 😮 Thank you for your continued support. 😁🎣👍
Hi Przemek. Thanks for commenting. Big pits are very daunting but can hold some very special fish. Bream are also a problem in the water i am on now but i will over come that by using bigger hook baits. Good luck. 🎣👍😀
well nice venue, sometimes you cant beat the club lakes with big pits and nice res’s, a lot of syndicates will have the same problem people just cant afford to rejoin i know i cant this year, and cant even get to france either so club lakes are in and been out 2 days last week already quite cold that wind, but enjoyed it and look forward to the next vlog.
Hi Brett, Thank you for taking the time to comment mate. Decent syndicates are hard to come by nower days. The good old club tickets sometimes hold some jems that not many people know about. I will be keeping this one a secret though out of respect for the other members. I think a lot of the french venues will suffer this year and maybe next. It's a shame really but perhaps it may help the fishing in the UK with the extra revenue staying in the country. Thanks for watching mate. Plenty more to come.🎣😀👍
It's a lovely place. I gave my ticket up though. Only fished it once more after I did this film. Bailiff took exception to me filming my vlogs on there. 😁👍🎣
Fascinating venue. I assume the stock can be very varied due to the Trent passing through? Oh, and those Bre' Bree' no can't say it sorry. Lol. High quality as alway's.
Hi Iain. Thanks for your message. It sure is going to be a challenge. Im guessing the fish will move in and out of the Trent section quite frequently. Makes it slightly more challenging for sure. Lots of the B word though mate 😀🎣👍😂.
Im all good mate. Had my first vaccine, just waiting for the second one now and then i will be invincible 😂😂. Yes i have been very busy producing stuff for the Prologic youtube channel hence why my channel is suffering slightly. Got a busy few months coming up to. Keep well mate.👍😀🎣
Hello mate ,hope you well ,enjoyed the vlog, them 15 mm boilies look spot on,glad things working out for you,you seem so much more relaxed in front of camera aswell, good video work as usual.
Hi Mate. Yes thats correct. The river runs freely in and out of the lake so the fish can come and go as they please. I know of another place like this and the same fish get caught at certain times of year so the fish must like to stay local. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍😀🎣
Cheer Mark. Great to be back out doing nights again. This place is 20 minutes down the road from me and I only found out about a couple of months ago. 🎣👍😁
Hi mate. Thanks for your comment. I use a Sony A7riii for my filming. There are cameras out there that will record in full HD but the features will be very limited. You also need to consider what lenses you will need to. The lenses can be the expensive part. Then you need audio recording equipment to. A good place start would be action cameras like go pro or DJI osmo pocket. 👍😁🎣
As always very pleasant to watch Mark. Great footage.👌🏻 Keep on keeping on and soon you will have some fish on.🎣🎣 Greetings from your 🇧🇪 Carpy Connection.
Hi Leah. Thanks for your comment. Yes it is the 65 system. Great little brolly and very roomy. Can be a pain to put up to begin with but once you get the hang of it it's OK. 😁👍🎣🎣
Yes, both good brollies although I would say the inspire us a bit better quality. I have also heard of people complaining of the MHR leaking. Mine has always been OK though.
Not an easy water tbh. Fished it about 15 year or so ago. Had a few nice fish out of there, found couple of the bailiffs, how do I put this!!! Abit Arsey that I was new and having a few fish and they kept checking me rigs ect, think a few of the regulars that fished it for years wasn’t to happy me catching if you know what I mean.
It's a lot of water to tackle. And with the amount of unfishable water, I would say it is going to be one of the hardest waters I have ever fished.. I'm going to give it a good go though and see what happens. Try and keep myself to myself. The thing with club waters is they can be a bit clicky. 😁👍🎣

Hi Craig. Thank you for watching. A new challenge was needed and I think this is it 👍🎣😁🤞🤞

Hi Craig. Thanks for your comment mate. It is rather large isn't it. Great challenge though 😀🎣👍
Good luck with that. It looks quite a challenge. But what a sense of achievement it will be when you finally get one.

Hi Daniel. Thank you for your comment mate. Yes, i do seem to like to make things a bit more difficult for myself 😂😂. Glad you enjoyed the vlog.😀🎣👍
Good luck m8 👍👍I start on big pit last year (110 acres) and no luck at the moment only bream 🤭😡 but I really enjoyed and not give up 💪💪

This place looks really interesting, Mark. A lot of pits along the Trent, aren’t there...! Sure you will sort something out there, good luck.
Hi Timothy. Yes there quite a few lakes in the area. Lots of carp in the Trent to. Hopefully not to long before one graces my net 🤞🎣👍😁

so the river runs in and out and the carp can escape? Is there a net or something to prevent big fiish coming and going?
