Amazing work! I have no clue about anything to do with building or structural integrity but the foundation of just 2x4s nailed into loosley sitting logs was givin me the heebie jeebies
I gave you a thumbs up and I like your idea. A lot of people are questioning the stability and the longevity I get it but if you haven’t spent more than 500 bucks and you had fun doing it or maybe even 1000 bucks good for you
Dude spends a good amount of time building something pretty decent that could last a while at least, then builds it on top of untreated logs sitting on the bare dirt. Just the weight of the structure sank that out of level before he was done, and will rot collapsing the whole thing in a couple years.
Amazing he had that much money available to waste on the lumber for it to be completely unstable for the supports. A strong winter wind is going to send this right to the bottom of the hill.
I think the insulation is not enough (those sheets with aluminum are more suitable for heat than cold), and the stove placed next to the wall with the plastic sheets gives off too much heat, I would put it in the center of the long wall. by the way it is a great job and I like the use of simple but effective materials.
Maybe the longevity is the point. He builds alot of them.Takes from the forest knowing that the forest will reclaim it eventually I know he has fixed other builds by other builders that he has come across that have started to be reclaimed.
Should have put a good base of gravel under the foundation posts. Or burned the bottom foot or so. Or both. Some wood is more resistant to rot but I don’t know what you used here. For just hand tools, very nice results.
This has got to be the worst construction techniques I've ever seen. The footings will not last a year. Termites in two months. A strong wind will blow it over. Wow what a mess. Take some lessons from a trade school or at least watch some construction videos. Good luck you will need it.
Hello everyone, what do you think about this unusual project?

Simply, an amazing build, especially when done by basic hand tools.

I thought this is Sergei building a new cabin. But it's not him! How is he? Haven't seen him for a while now... Hope a reply. Thanks

Just for the Utube video and subscriptions. I won't subscribe. But I usually watch about halfway through.
👍💐💐✌️👍
Nah... It'll be fine.🌅
When building these things do you ever stop to think at some point, some bloke in England will be watching this to help him get to sleep?
Hi from Spain! thank you for upload the video! good job bro👍🏼🇺🇦🖤🇪🇸
thank you very much brother, greetings from Ukraine

Well, how safe are the windows it looks like heavy-see plastic , not bug safe etc. etc.I would have spend the night there and very scary to watch!
Very good wood craftsman!
Thank you, I'm glad.

Thanks for the advice.
Master Builders LESNOY.. Home Builders Best.😅
Thanks for watching, friend.
Those foundations looked a bit hasty!
Anyone notice the hanging hand from a tree trunk in the thumbnail.??
It's kinda a creepy 😢
Foundation is absolutely key for structures longevity. He did a bad job there.
The foundation is going to rot very quickly
I don’t understand the purpose of cutting out the notches in the stairs. 🤔
Hello, please come and see.🙋🇹🇭❤️❤️
The front side isn't strong enough for sure. The plastic film can't be reliable at all for a house.😮
💗❣️💜🧡♥️💝💚👼🏻🤎💖😇🤍💙💛💟❤️
😊❤
Even leaf litter is better than no insulation…

I am concerned about the lack of foundation as well.
just for you tube ? I think its dumb !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe YOU are dumb😂😂

Get a full time job
Very good wood craftsman!
