I met your mom years ago in the Victoria airport . I was on my way to see my daughter in England & she was on her way with boat boat parts to see you in Thailand (?) She shared your plans & your Utube name & I’ve been following you ever since. Thanks for sharing your adventures ❤
We moved aboard this weekend and I want to thank you Ben and Ashley for inspiring us to chase after this beautiful life on the water. We would have never thought it’d be possible without watching your videos every weekend for the last three years. 💜

In the countries I've sailed, if you politely ask at a fire station or estacion de bombas (still like that one), for a bit of used fire hose they've always given me some and usually too much. I give the rest away as anti-chafe.

Great video! The end of March is right around the corner and I'm so excited for you all. Will you be bringing a person aboard to help you cross the Pacific?
No comparison, Nahoa immerses themselves into the cultures of countries, that’s why I enjoyed their early episodes so much, now with the kids, who are absolute priority, it’s a little different, as you’d expect it to be. They live their own race so to speak, more authentic, and Nz can’t wait to have them there for the boat build. I’m not a kiwi, just read the comments to get the gist.
So I’m sitting on the back of my Lagoon 400 in Thailand watching and during an ocean “B” roll I heard seagulls, on the open ocean ? Nope then I noticed I have birds on my boat, so I went back to see if you edited in seagull chirps, yup you did. Today I sucked up a mooring line in my propeller, stopped the motor dead, so I changed motors and the belt blew, not a good day. To further my predicament my mast is off while the rigging is getting replaced. Neither motor, no sail, 20 knots, 1/2 nm offshore and getting blown onto Phuket, time to drop the anchor and fix stuff. Hey, please make sure to put something like "#ad" "sponsorship" etc in the video for your sponsorship segment at 7:40 - if you don't do that, you can get into all sorts of trouble for undisclosed advertising. Even if it's maybe not against the law in Canada (i wouldn't know), it is a problem in various countries where the RUclips videos are shown (i.e. Germany) and so at the very least, YT is obligated to take down videos or restricting them if someone reports it
Love the new app option i have the exact same problem. What did you do to connect your tablet or i pad to your raymarine unit. Hope you can help me. Love your relaxed videos.
great to see the kids swimming. don't worry and you were not next to gangsters. "Who is the Owner of the Yacht GALLANT LADY? The yacht was built for automotive entrepreneur Jim Moran (1918-2007). Much Love, been a real pleasure to watch your family grow 🙏🥰🥰🥰
My wife and I are doing this next year. Between selling our house, our business, and all our belongings we should have about $300k USD in cash. We plan on buying a mono sail boat as we are just 27 and 28 and have no kids. We want to spend roughly $50k on a yacht and save the rest. We are already preparing by dehydrating food and leftovers to bring with us, everything has about a 30 year shelf life when dehydrated.
Sorry to ask an awkward cuestión, but can anyone tell me ? Are these people mother and son ? The children are this man's children? I don't t know their story , as it's the first time I've seen the video. I'm just curious as this woman is very brave to be responsable for two such young children....

Dip all your cans in melted paraffin wax (labels and all)
What happens when you get to the edge of the world
