    I thought it was odd they didn't take torment pulse but after seeing how much drain his 1 does at full level, duration extender was a cheap alternative

      I've moved away from torment pulse. It's a good item for sure, but I really like the build this guy has. It pretty much mirrors mine.
      The biggest difference for me is that I go monster rounds instead of basic mag. I find that once you get kinetic dash you aren't really limited by ammo as much. Monster rounds makes you even more of a lane bully because you can hard tank tower and push the wave even faster and you can get it so early. Personally, I like to rush close quarters and monster rounds and then melee lifesteal to sustain. I always say that abrams is the worst character in the game until you have 1500 souls. After 1500 he power spikes to arguably the best character in the game until late game where he starts to fall off if you aren't ahead with at least 2 powerful actives.
      I like to avoid extra regen if I can, but it is a good item to have in the build and he needed it this game.
      I also go vamp before colossus, but I get both for sure. Also, instead of melee charge, I usually get warpstone. Personally, I find melee charge to fall off pretty hard unless you are hard winning. Maybe not a bad idea to grab melee charge if you are destroying the game like they were this game, but the utility of warpstone is just crazy. Warpstone, charge, heavy melee is crazy once you have duration extender. Plus it pretty much hard counters warden trap.
      Also, when the game is more even/I'm losing , I often take bullet/spirit armor, but those items are necessity buys. I don't want them, but sometimes you have to get em.
      I can see where torment pulse would be really good still, though. If there are a lot of big team fights happening, the damage from it is CRAZY. I just find it inconsistent in value. I like the consistency that comes with this general build. But I wouldn't say torment pulse is a trap item. I think its fantastic, just not for me. It is really strong in low mmr too if you have bad aim, but I think once you have consistent aim and consistently hit your shots it maybe falls off unless you are in the middle of like 3+ people.
      For items that are really good, but comp specific, I'd list metal skin and debuff remover. If a haze is taking over the game, metal skin is almost a must buy. If a bepop bomb build is taking over, debuff remover is a must buy, but these aren't abrams specific, they're good on all characters against haze and bebop. Also, debuff reducer against warden and kelvin are must buys.

      There is still no reason not to take this item. Tournament pulse is core item for Abrams. And i always buy mystic slow to counter sharpshooters, this item makes more survival.

    Why is Bebop able to parry punches after charge? Can't do it in my games cause abrams punches before stun ends

      you can. after the shoulder charge stun nerf, it is just possible. Just press parry button as fast as you can.

      You can parry charged punches when abrams is a little bit away from you, if he's on you and charge punches you can't (or if they have duration extender)
