  • Ergonomics affects every employee at VEI, no matter what your job is. There is a new video on the VEI website and RUclips about Ergonomics in the Ophthalmology Office. This video project was at the request of Bradley P. Smith, MBA, FACHE, FHFMA, CMPE, COE. After meeting with several associates, Brad decided that this was a much-needed project. This did more than bring VEI into OSHA compliance, it set a cutting edge standard for ophthalmology practices.
There were several associates involved with the video creation. All of their efforts are appreciated. Rhonda Ullom, COMT, FCLSA, OSC, OCS, OCSR presented this as part of a lecture she gave for the annual Kentucky Association of Technical Personnel in Ophthalmology, KATPO, meeting on February 6, 2021. She has been asked to present this lecture at the upcoming Spring VSOMP meeting scheduled for June.
