- Hinche, Haiti is located in the Central Plateau home to 110,000 Haitians. Joel Trimble visits Hinche to see what Good News, La Bonne Nouvelle, he can film for Haitian viewers and friends of Haiti around the world. Catholic nuns feed over 10,000 children a day. There is good news in Hinche!
As a black American I love seeing these videos of Haiti. I love my Caribbean/Haitian brothers and sisters. I have a few Haitian coworkers and I never believed the lies from the media about Haiti. Watching Frere Joel takes me to places in Haiti that I'll probably never get to visit. Watching these videos reinforces my belief that Haiti is a wonderful place. I travel to Jamaica quite often and seeing the small clean Haitian towns, especially the market women reminds me of Jamaica. I can say that I have set my foot onto Haitian soil but only to Labadee during a cruise so I know that doesn't really count. However, my dream is to visit the Citadelle. God bless Haiti. Keep up the good work and progress, Haiti will rise again.

THANK YOU LA BONNE NOUVELLE TO SEE PLATEAU CENTRAL HAITI AND HIS ADVANCED.
As a future investor in Haiti, I can't wait to eventually meet "Frere Joel". I don't believe I have learned more about Haiti through his wonderful clips than any other clips on youtube. Once again Frere Joel, you've outdone yourself, Haiti is really lucky to have you and as a Haitian-American I thank you very much for showing the positive and the beautiful sides of Haiti. You are really doing a wonderful job and may God keep blessing you!
proof to show that haitians are not afraid to work hard. Seulment pa gain job pou yo fe. Se pou nou tout encourage production hatienne. Lets go back, and invest in the future of our country.

My sister told me about frere Joel, and I had to come here to see for myself.
Thank you for posting those cool clips and those tasty looking Haitian meals.
I'm having some good memories about growing up in Haiti and playing soccer right by the beach with my 2 big brothers, I was about 10 to12 years old.
No matter what the media shows in the news, there are lots of great things about this sweet Caribbean place called Haiti.
I love this!! keep up the good work Fre Joel!
There is so much food in the country side; however, the stocks dont go/get to Port-au-Prince. Last year, I went to La Chapelle & it was Market's day; We purchased so many things(Avocado,Hen,rice,peas,veg/fruits) that when we got to PAP people was shock how cheap we got them.
i like this guy ...he is having a good time

They need to invest more in local productions like that and make those places more sanitary as well.

Brother Joel, I do appreciate you taken your special time to actually go to Haiti; my country. You have shown many people around the world the kind of resource our country produces. It could've been any other, you have chosen ours. May the Holy Spirit shines His grace, mercy and blessing upon you and yours. Isaiah 58:13. Isaiah 66: 22, 23, 24. Ezekiel 20:12. Genesis 2:2,3.
