  • Went out to herp three different states in a single day trying to find snakes under tin in November, which can be a difficult task. Also had our first good week of salamanders. Enjoy!

      One of the rarer salamanders in Florida. Pretty awesome species.

    Flatwoods salamander made me do a double take, I'm so used to seeing marbleds. Nice stuff

      They look so similar. Marbled's used to be my favorite here on the East coast but it has now become the Flatwoods.

    Hey man when it comes to snakes and other reptiles is it only based on temps instead of time of day?

    • @rangermarcus
      @rangermarcus  7 месяцев назад

      It does need to be somewhat warm in order for snakes to be out and about, but snakes can be found during the day or night

    • @chriscook6360
      @chriscook6360 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@rangermarcus yeah I was wondering did it really matter as long as the temps were just right then you got a chance to see bask in stuff like in the 60°-70°s before it was stupid hot

    I’m new to the channel loved the salamanders. Would prefer not to have dor’s shown. I know it happens but that’s not what I watch herpers for.
