Exploring Waterfalls In Georgia! Snakes, Tortoises, and Lizards
Where are you in oregon
Yeah Ima be completely honest. Didn’t expect to want to go to Norway to go herping! That melanistic adder was insane!
@@wildlife_bros definitely an underrated country for adders. More likely to see those melanistic ones and possibly blue if you’re super lucky
The breathing noise of the Adder was so cool. Great video!
@@LifeOfLindaLee it was almost hissing because of how hard it was breathing. Besides that, he was incredibly docile. Awesome to see it displaying that behavior though
Goated herp trip
@@cortglosli6695 you already know man
So nice to see someone enjoying our scarce herp fauna :P Next time (if there is a next time) I'll take you to find the remaining 7 herps :D
@@SvenTheSnakeGuy thanks for watching and I definitely did appreciate the Norwegian herps. I’ll have to get the next 7 the next time with you fasho
good styff marcus !
@@NeoSolloway thank you son
There is any snakes in Norway. It's too cold
@@Ludwig98000NL 3 different species of snakes in Norway! Adders and grass snakes can be quite abundant in spring and summer
Enjoyed the video..Always wanted to visit Norway, looks like a beautiful country..
@@scottnixon2899 it was amazing! Definitely get out there
Love the coconut turtle 😂
I'm not game to try it, but I always wonder if when one of those tiny Pygmy Rattlers bites someone of average weight and size if they could just shake it off and ignore the bite? Basically I'm wondering if the bite wouldn't be any worse than getting stung by a large hornet or something?
@@vwsandvettes3253 I have second hand experience with it. I would definitely recommend not getting bit by one. Hospital time is a definite. It’s gunna swell up real bad for a few days
Really beautiful marsh snake! Thanks for the content. This was a great video. I hope you have a dope weekend. Catch you on the flip-side. Richard from Arkansas
@@Richard_and_Heather thanks for watching Richard. Salt marsh snake was definitely my favorite of the trip
Right on brother👍🇺🇸
@@smokeeater8387 thanks for watching!
AWESOME video!!! I loved that gulf salt marsh snake, great pic of it! I also really liked those ribbons for some reason, they almost look like striped racers 🤔
@@Stop4ThemSneks thanks for watching and yeah they look super similar
awesome weekend !!
@@jaybesse5258 yessir thanks man!
Great stuff! Can’t believe you saw that many when it was so warm!
What an amazing trip! So bummed I missed you...next time! Congrats on all the lifers
Very enjoyable video! Congratulations on all your lifers!!
Yo bro go back to pyramid and herp around sutcliff there's a buttload of lizards and snakes around there I usually find horny toads and spiny lizards and whip tails ect and then every snake on the book even a coachwhip!
Here in northeastern California we have big ol bullsnakes biggest I caught was 7 ft
I like how all these herpers have different stuff around them that they can regularly find
Some great finds, but I had to turn my volume down. 😢 maybe voice over if it’s so windy. ❤
Rad looking glossys!
Woooooow! that is amazing!
@@kid-herper that’s what I’m saying dude! Thanks for watching
@@rangermarcus no prob
TWENTY FIVE LIFERS! Good lord man, that sounds like an incredible trip! I was in NM earlier this summer, got skunked pretty bad. Only 2 snakes in about a week, and temps were too cold to roadcruise snakes. Anyways, great video as always!
@@Stop4ThemSneks thank ya thank ya! Couldn’t have gone on a more perfect weekend! Found almost everything I wanted to see
Let's gooo, legendary vid right there! See you out here next year bro👊
@@haydenl1807 absolutely man had a blast!
Cool that you made it to the Midwest. I'm in Nebraska, most of the same stuff here you found. No saugas? Need to upgrade your night time filming setup 🤪
@@eddieharris8547 no saugas. A different group found one tho. I’ve always used an iPhone, don’t think I’m gunna switch up from that
Some nice finds! That Longnose was perhaps the best I've ever seen, head kind of reminds me of the Scarlet snakes I have found here in Alabama..
@@scottnixon2899 longnose was definitely a huge accomplishment for me. I’ve been to too many places to never see them so it was awesome!
Sick stuff man and some sweet finds. Like the vids I look forward to watching more
I’m watching this video with my snake
Really enjoyed this video!! I can never get enough of Gophers!!
Killer video as always!!! And you know I love my NorCal content :) Also, P pass road?
@@Stop4ThemSneks haha yeah 🤫
@@rangermarcus aha! 🤣 I have yet to cruise it, but from what I’ve heard and seen it looks awesome 👏 🤐
@@Stop4ThemSneks Ha ha HA ha ha
Awesome vid! New subscriber here :) I live near east LA and I don't see much snakes, but when I go hiking up in the San Gabriel mountains I see plentyy
@@heathervenom251 awesome! Thanks for tuning in. I was in that area with some herpers last summer and had a blast. Great place to look for snakes
I live in North Alabama, some amazing species here. I'm absolutely obsessed with snakes, the first venomous snake bite started my obsession. The whole process of producing antivenom is fascinating. From catching snakes, milking them , aka venom extraction to the final vial of antivenom.
What's your favorite species? Mine is Timber Rattlesnakes. I've been bitten twice by different vipers
@@summerrainsong7506 favorite snake is definitely northern rubber boa. I have a video from a couple years ago titled “my favorite snake species” and I talk all about em
Thank you , be extremely careful. No matter how well you know the species you're working with, using the best safety protocols, accidents happen when working with any venomous species. Snakes, spiders and so on. Two viper bites, bitten by a Black widow spider 4 times at once , almost cost me my life. I was completely paralyzed, unable to even breathe on my own. Attacked by a Rabid fox, had to receive full Rabies treatment of shots in my tummy for 28 straight days due to rabies complications. So please be extremely cautious. @rangermarcus
got cooked🎉🎉
This is true. Neo where’s my water bottle
Nice video. First time that you have popped up on my RUclips. I watch others and you are the first one that has shown a gray rat snake. First one that I’ve seen. I herp in Maryland and I only come across the black ones and they always like to get a couple bites in, lol
Glad you came across my page! I love great rat snakes. Very underrated
Which county for the Simus?
I can DM you on IG the details if you’d like
@@rangermarcus are you in florida?
@@ProjectSimusFlorida yup
@@rangermarcus my email is at the bottom of my website. I can’t add it here. Look at the bottom of the home page. Thanks!😊
@@rangermarcus did you find my email?
I own a western hog nose
Good stuff! I never realized young simus had a such a light colored tail. Any ideas as to its purpose?
I know in copperheads and cottonmouths they will use that caudal lure to attract prey but in a simus it’s pretty interesting. Not sure what the exact reason would be. I’d have to do some research
To look like a rattle 😊
Good looking rat snake and congratulations on the Simus
Thanks Brad! Can never go wrong with a simus
Okay you’re my new crush…
😂😂 thank ya!
Right on brother👍🇺🇸
Great video! You have the best camera with the clearest shots of anyone l follow. I have never seen a southern hognose either, only the black ones here in eastern central AL that l have found, and only since having a lake built about 20 yrs ago. That grey rat was awesome, think they call them White Oak snakes in FL, definitely much lighter then the ones l have found..
Thanks Scott for the super kind words! I would’ve usually called that one an oak snake given the very gray tones. Next time I’ll do it for ya
Just moved to Northern Alabama and clearly I need to get out more often, great finds!
It’s a fantastic place to herp
Some great finds brother. I think that might have been a pickerel frog instead of a leopard frog.👍🇺🇸
I think you might be right. Thanks for watching!
12:20 probably the longest pacific giant salamander in the forest. One gorgeous snotty beast!
Inside that cave was awesome! Those cave salamanders were beautiful! One of the most beautiful species you have ever shown us!
Thanks for watching Chris!
great walk thru the cave....so many salamanders!
Reminds me of Little River Canyon...great video
You wouldn’t be wrong 😂
You ever come to Arkansas to herp? Richard and Heather from Arkansas
Maybe one day but I haven’t yet
sweet spotted dusky
Thanks dude!
