We rode by Gunnison one time, as we just didn't have time to stop & see everything on our motorcycle trip. I've seen a lot of what you've shared, but you make it much more vivid. Speaking of these matters, when you showed the Milky Way, I commented, "Oh God," then jokingly said, "yea, I did that," as if he was speaking. I then said to my wife, "it makes me feel kind of insignificant. " Thanks for sharing; we love your art.
Nick God Bless you, and thank you for the kind words. I had no idea the milky way was in that position at that moment. When I saw the photo on the back of my camera I said, Oh My... and shot for another hour :)
@@robertwhite-photography That would be great. Unfortunately, I do not get much time off. You see, my employer is an unreasonable tyrant! Oh wait, I am self-employed.
Awesome Robert! Hearing the description of the shot setup and the results revealed are superb. I'm a sucker for the night sky, especially the Milky Way, so yes, I was blown away with your night shots. Have you ever been to Terlingua? I would love to see your efforts in that "no light pollution" zone of Texas. Some of the most beautiful shots of the Milky Way I've ever seen have been taken there. If you've been, you know, and if you haven't, you should. You would love it! Thanks for another great post.
Amazing work. Thanks for posting the settings. Colorado is a great place for motorcycles and cameras

David thank you so much! Now I have Terlingua on my list :)
I had no idea of the amount of work and knowledge involved. Amazing job, Robert. We are both learning not to turn sideways on camera. 😂
Mac, true on all accounts !!
On your pictures do you use the full 24mp capability of the camera?
Dan the camera has a 45mp sensor, and yes I use every bit of it shooting in “Raw” format . Thanks for watching and commenting!!
