Congratulations on 40 years married. It’s a Ruby anniversary. My favourite colour is blue and I love this blue collage. It’s pretty and fun. I love the colour cube collage as there is no pressure and it’s all fun. It’s different too. I can’t draw either so stamping is the best I can do to decorate my pages. Lots of love from England xx

Simple, quiet and strolling through a little town we've driven through hundreds of times but never stopped to investigate. Blue seems to be a big winner with everyone this week. Happy Anniversary to you and Hubby! My husband and I will celebrate our 40th in October, making '84' a really good year, aye?!
This collage has to be one of my favorites. It is gorgeous! I love blue, all blues, any blue. Blue just brightens everything...so why do people say, Oh I'm feeling blue? No, blue should represent happy, energetic, inspiring, joyful and peaceful, I could go on but you get it.
Anyhow, you did a fantastic job on pulling all the blues together, and adding touch of white.
I appreciate the inspiration too, as I would never have looked at that page with the wallet and thought, that would be a beautiful background for a collage. But I'm learning to look at things with prospective in mind.
Hope you and your guy had a lovely celebration! 40 Year is nothing to sneeze at, not many marriages (these days) make it to 40. So, go y'all!!! xx
@linmims3049 Thank you so much, gf. 40 years is nothing to sneeze at, however, we realized last night after hubs has a glass of wine, that's all he does. Sneeze, blow his nose and sniffle ........... I looked it up and yes, some people are allergic to alcohol, especially wine. It can create histamine, which will trigger you. Taking his wine away, is like taking the car keys away from you elderly mom or dad. Oh boy ......... 🤣😱🤣 but I think it has to be done. I'm so happy you enjoyed the collage, I like blue too, especially the sky and ocean. TFW and have a terrific day ........ let me know how you make out with you new papers when you print too. @avirtualcanvas7584 Thank you, Matt for all your kind words. Hubs and I had a very simple, lovely day. After 40 years we don't need more gifts, just quality time spent together. These colors came together very well, but I wasn't sure how I was going to incorporate it all in a cohesive manner. I'm so happy you enjoyed this weeks collage and yes, Georgia O'Keefe is wonderful. Between 1918 -1934 she spent her summers in my backyard painting. Lake George was her spot to paint beautiful pieces. I'm sure you know the history of her. My favorite by her is tittled Lake George (formerly Reflection Seascapes). She painted some 200 paintings here, and this area holds her near and dear to their hearts. The east side of Lake George is quite, serene and holds beautiful views of the lake and mountain ranges. Have a beautfiul day and TFW. 🌟🌟🌟

@joymeadows3646 Joy, ...................... wedded bliss 🤣🤣🤣🤣 that phrase is funny. The past 40 years have flown by, omgosh ........ it's just crazy. We've had or ups and downs, not all blissful, but it shouldn't be. We've been on the brink of disaster at times but we pulled each other off the ledge, worked at it and when we agreed to "for better or worse" .......... we meant it. As you know, marriage is work, give and take. 😵💫😎😵💫 We've had so much enjoyment throughout the years. I am very blessed and I thank you for your lovely words. 💙❄💙TFS💙❄💙 stunning... we've had pretty much non-stop rain the last week, sunday we even had hail.. I'm tucked up inside ignoring the world and getting inky fingers.. I'm going to have to pull my colour cubes down, I rearranged my room and they were put up, but now I want them back, like URGENTLY! LOL... short person problems!!
