Thank you for your honesty and courage. Many of us have such thoughts but aren't bold enough to say it out loud, especially on social media. I have a friend I talk with at a movie club and while he and I lead different lives. I'm a prospective PhD student on the dole. He's a high powered IT guy. We were discussing the same conundrum and how people get trapped in exactly the scenario you begin to describe. S*cking up to the boss who does not truly care for you or your life (indeed, even psychological life). How we fit in to pay the bills. Many people wed, have kids, then it's the mortgage which ties them into the silent complicity with a slow death. It's the death of free speech, the death of individuality, the right to speak our minds freely and to stand up for our own convictions. It is our right to dream and fulfill the purpose(s) for which we came, into this beautiful world... Yet, so much of society, instead of honouring our lives, turns us over to mediocrity, conformity, and mindless repetition, spiritual death. It's the greatest betrayal of life the word 'betrayal' can give.
@@NotKikosWorld But what did you mean about the bell curve then? Entitlement? Genetic superiority? Hard slave labour to achieve freedom? Luck, through pattern recognition?
VERY WELL WRITTEN!!!! I surrender to GOD. I do not fit in with ANYONE. I appreciate your courage to say what many, many are thinking daily and know intuitively, that is, that we know nothing of the ways of this world, and it leaves us disappointed due to pleasing the "boss" and not pleasing ourselves and God.

I like your observations about work/slavery.
Thank you, it’s not finished yet. I try to make it clear it’s not about money or anyone being above others. I appreciate your comment ❤❤❤
