[4K🇹🇭] Chiang Rai Thailand | The White Temple Beautiful as in Paradise | Wat Rong Khun |April 2023

Wat Rong Khun, also known as "the White Temple," is one of Thailand's most recognizable temples. The temple outside of Chiang Rai attracts a large number of visitors, both Thai and foreign, and is one of the town's most popular attractions. Wat Rong Khun is a unique temple that stands out through the white color and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparkling in the sun.
The Wat Rong Khun was designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a well-known Thai visual artist, designed Wat Rong Khun. To date the temple is not finished. There will eventually be nine structures, including a ubosot, a hall to house Buddhist relics, a meditation hall, monks' living quarters, and an art gallery.
Unfortunately, there was a lot of PM 2.5 on the day I recorded the video. As a result, we can't see the beautiful white temple against the blue sky.

🚶‍How to go : The most comfortable way to get there is by private air conditioned taxi. The ride from town takes about 20 minutes, the fare is between 250 and 300 Baht. Or public transportation, buses leave from the old bus station near the night bazaar in the center of Chiang Rai town. The trip takes around 30 minutes, fare is 20 Baht one way.
