We’ve had our Jura J9 for 8 years and it still works amazingly! I love it so much I pack it in the car on road-trips! 😂

This is a very different design than my krups machine. It is very interesting how different companies have different solutions, each with different advantages

We are Eva 7 GCC region user. The grinder and heater was replaced 3 years ago while the machine now is 10 years old. Coffee taste is still alright but lately the coffee waste is too moist and also due to the extremely hot water being used there seems to be moisture collection inside the tray post preparation and guessing it’s internally affecting machine’s performance too. Wonder if spares can be replaced or time to replace the machine.

Are all the jura automatic coffee machines with the same brewing unit? Are there differences between the professional series and consumer series In regards to durability of key components? I don’t want to pay extra for a machines that offers 30 different drinks or have a fancy display. I’d rather pay extra to get the most durable jura machine

Dear Josef Krukkeslikker, thank you for your comment. We have two brewing units in use: Our large brewing unit (5-16gr) for professional devices and the household devices (without ENA 8 and ENA 4). For the ENA 4 and ENA 8 we have integrated a compact brewing unit (6-10gr). Regarding longevity, however, does not make a difference. We test all of our components with the same stress test. Both brewing units hold up well to normal use. For a very intense flavor, an E8 with the large brewing unit can certainly be recommended. Kind regards, JURA

@@jura_coffee I'm wondering if the Jura has a system similar to the 9-bar pressure with a non-pressurized basket, like manual machines. I use 18g with a 36g output on my manual machine. Can we set up shot profiles and temperature like on manual machines? I want to switch to an automated machine that is as good as manual machines. Otherwise I will wait everysys for their home machine until they make one.
      Thank you 🙏🏻

Dear @@lenso010, thank you for your comment. We work with a brewing unit that has a capacity of 5-16 gr (except for our ENA line, the capacity is smaller). The pressure ratios are designed to achieve the best result in the cup with a fully automatic machine. You are welcome to visit one of our great specialist dealers in your country and taste the coffee there. This gives you the opportunity to form your own impression of the comparison between a manual machine and a fully automatic coffee machine. Kind regards, JURA

Dear Izy, thank you for your comment. The coffee preparation is a self-contained system. The entire system, including the brewing unit, is cleaned during the cleaning process. Water temperatures of over 80°C are reached during this process. Germs are killed by these high temperatures. The integrated rinsing and cleaning programmes are automatically displayed by the machine, started at the touch of a button and offer maximum cleanliness and convenience. Kind regards, JURA
