Почему не используете авиационный метод клепания? инструмент стоит копейки, стягивает металл как сварка, не расшатывается со временем, но нужен доступ с обеих сторон

I don’t understand replacing spots welds with aluminum rivets. Doesn’t seem very safe.

Great video.Also enjoyed watching the GT3 rebuild this morning. Question - The greenish "isolating pads" between the front tub and the front crash bar I"m assuming are there to prevent galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. Do you know what material this is and/or where one might buy it? (I have a Land Rover Defender with a Galvanic corrosion issue between the aluminum body and steel rock sliders... and want to put this between)
I’m not sure what’s it’s color it come like that factory.
just looks like a precut paper gasket type material. lots of paper gasket has that color

watched a bunch of your videos. you do amazing work. cars that would be salvaged for parts get to back on the road for a new life. I imagine you make a nice profit plus the new owner knows their salvage title is backed by solid quality work. I like the way you take measurements and make sure the car is straight and all the seams have proper spacing/alignment.
