You should do a lot more challenges where you have damage, this should Supply a bit of a challenge when you are missing modules or have damage modules...

Future quest:
Do a Cobra manuever to land on a carrier using Draken.
Normal one:
Pick Etendard (if you have it, otherwise any naval jet will do), land on a carrier, then reload. After that, right in the moment you take off start doing a loop in order to land again.

Airbrakes like flaps indeed increase drag, BUT ! flaps also create LIFT that airbrake doesnt !
So ; deploying airbrakes and raising flaps after touchdown is the most efficient way to brake !

@@mafia_boss_neto you can't just put on sirens. It is the airflow passing specific structure of airbrake. So you need also higher speed. So I don't thing so that in landing speed they will scream.

@@michalbreza7612 Also it isn't the airbrake, it is a system so if the pilot passes out the plane can exit diving, what does the siren are the 2 propulsors in the landing gear.

Smigol Time! It does, just simple physics, when your flaps are down it forces air into the ground lifting the wheels up reducing contact with the ground thus reducing breaking efficiency, I’d suspect giving full negative elevator may help too however I haven’t tested this yet
@@andrewroberts6344 ye but only with nose wheel planes. Otherwise it will make it even worse. But regarding the flaps, I honestly didnt expect it to be modeled, it's more of a detail than obvious game physics tbh

I like to boast that I can land any prop with three engines or less on a carrier. Usually a larger torp bomber, on realistic Norway. Wheels up is the rule though. I would be astonished if you manage a Il-28/H-5 do it. No air brakes.

ItsYoBoi you can do that easily in the HE177. 4 gear legs, rather than the traditional 2 under the wings. Has saved me many times in sim.
