How I start my blank pages using basic art supplies. Let's break 12 blank pages, let's make backgrounds using old book pages, magazines, masking tapes, washi tapes and more. Use what you have in your stash. This series is beginner friendly, it's simple instuction on how to start your art journaling journey.

I know right????? That's one of my worst character defect if not the worst. I over think too much and it's very rare I ever really like the art/crafts I end up producing. I always find a reason it's not good. Too dark, too light, colors don't flow, I can go on and on. Why I do this, I have no clue. Like I said for me it's a character defect.😅😊

Hi! Over five years ago, , I came across your older blank page tutorials. Being a " no original ideas in my head" kind of lady, I decided to follow your exact way of doing the pages. During this time I was asked if I wanted to join an atc swap. I said yes to the ATC swap ,did your blank pages tutorial, and my life has done a 180 degree turn. I'm now into mixed media, watercolors and my latest venture is junk journals. However I refuse to call them "junk " journals, I call them art journals as I like to fill up the pages as I cant bring myself to write in them. Silly, I know, but that's me. Five years later, I still dont get many original ideas, but I sure can copy well, and i do as my artwork isnt designed to be sold. . So if you're hesitant, dont be. Marta is a great teacher!
