I always look forward to see these videos of yours and immediately, not even 60 seconds into the video I get introduced to a great looking game I’ve never heard of before and that has me super intrigued. You literally never fail to do this.
Daw, I'm glad to hear that Evil :) Generally I do my best to showcase something new and different without TOTALLY neglecting more mainstream fare. Lost in Vivo is going to terrify me as I continue I'm sure :p
You are one of the best “pickups video” creators man, I love these videos
Thanks a bunch man :) I love making them and it's interesting just sampling a bunch of new things periodically. Hope you've been well!
picked up a couple survivors games too: Halls of Torment, Brotato, Deep Rock Galactic Survivor. you can always tell these games are working when you look in the bathroom mirror an hour later and see how dry and bloodshot your eyes are lol
OH nice! If you like those types of games I also recommend Gunlocked which is a ship-based scifi spin on the genre :) LoL no doubt!
Nice pickups! You're whistling, and someone whistles back, mocking you? Oh Hell no! I'm definitely not going to play that one, like ever 🤣! I've also gotten Scarlet Tower, but I haven't played it yet! I didn't buy anything from the Syeam Sale this summer. The games that I've wanted (like Republic of Pirates or El Dorado the Golden City Builder) weren't on sale because they're super recent ones, so I'll just wait! Great video and keep up the good work!
Dude it was so unnerving! Gah that's unfortunate- maybe the fall sale will see them get a discount. Thanks as always dude :)
Dude Lost in Vivo is so, so good. Actually all of Kira's games are tbh. I *NEED* to play it fully for myself though instead of just watching a playthrough lmao, I thankfully didn't have much spoiled for me tho. I picked up the rest of The Witcher games I was missing just the other day (again, despite owning them all on GOG) and finally started playing The Witcher 1. I've put so, so, so many hours into the series across all the platforms the games released on and never played the first.
I'm seeing that now! I'll have to check out some of their other games for sure but first I'm going to try and fully complete it, although I'll probably not get back to it until closer to Halloween. Someday I'll grab the rest of them but at present I only have 3. I'll probably wrap it up as we get closer to the next Witcher release but we'll see what happens.
Great video again. Lost in Vivo looks really good... Those kinds of games are not usually my jam but maybe I'll try this one out. I put that and scarlet tower on my wishlist (not that I need to be waiting for a lower price or anything but I'm trying not to buy things that I'm not immediately going to play nowadays to not just bloat the backlog).
I did end up picking something up, though it wasn't June anymore. Finally got tired of Diablo 4 so for something completely different... I got Last Epoch 😂
I only just started it but so far it's pretty cool although it has some rough edges (especially after D4 which has its faults but is definitely polished). Don't know if it's very steam deck friendly though. It's supposed to run fine, but while I prefer playing D4 with controller, I tried it in LE and it just didn't feel right, M&K on this one for me so keeping it for my desktop.
Thanks man! If you're a Vampire Survivors fan I'm sure you'll dig it. Diablo 4 I don't mind hopping into occasionally, but typically only if a friend hits me up and wants to run. Visually Last Epoch looks stellar! First I'd heard of it but added it to the wishlist for a sale. I'm glad D4 came to Steam proper finally.
@@YourPlayer2 Last Epoch so far is fun and I like it, and it does look good, but it also has some really weird design decisions... Like a respec system that from what I understand is meant to make players not just respec for a boss, but while it only slows max lvl players down a few minutes it heavily punishes new players really disincentivizing experimentation because swapping skills makes you weaker for a really long time (you lose skillpoints that you have to earn again with xp which means the skill will always be behind until you hit the cap). Also some weird bugs. It's no longer in early access but it still feels like it to me. But it's still fun anyway and will keep playing.
Great list Josh, I also ordered some Games for PS4 and PS5: Dragon Quest Builders 1 and 2, Team Sonic Racing, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Zorro: The Cronicles, FInal Fantasy, God of War III and finally God of War: Ragnarok. I will try not to get more Games in August but in September I'm going to get Tomb Raider Collection for PS4 and Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed for PS5, the only Mickey Game I ever played was Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse for Sega Mega Drive at a friend's house in the 90's. I wish there was a Port for modern consoles and PC.
Appreciate it dude! I only ever beat Dragon Quest Builders 2- I STARTED the original, but only to get familiar with it before 2 dropped and it seemed like an improvement on the original so I just went for that one instead. Immortals is almost CERTAINLY gonna be considered a hidden gem in the future imho. LoL I played that one in the 90s as well and while I don't think it got ported it DID get a remake in 2013 and it plays great on the Deck :)
@@YourPlayer2 Hey Josh, I hope you're having a great day/weekend so far. I didn't know there was a PC version for Castle of Illusion, I have to play it ASAP, by the way, I forgot to mention that I ordered Final Fantasy VIII Remastered because I still have the original. I cannot wait to have all the Games I have, looks like someone is going to be busy until the Tomb Raider Collection comes out. :)
@@miguelsantos84 Hope yours is going well too! Very cool and hope you enjoy it- I bought that for the Switch sometime back and sounds like you'll have plenty to stay busy with until Tomb Raider drops!
@@YourPlayer2 Thanks Josh, I just finished recording another Gameplay for Resident Evil 2 Remake, I've been trying to finish Claire's B Scenario on PS4. Claire's A and Leon's B are done, as soon as I finish Claire's B Scenario I will finally re-record Leon's A. I had those Gameplays on my external hard drive but I deleted them by mistake. :(
Lost In Vivo is so good! It was one of the first games I started streaming with. Just a small warning tho, the game is not stream friendly due to certain things that happen within the game. That being said, the best part of this game is playing it again and that is all I will say.
The only games I picked up from the Steam Summer Sale were main 3 'No More Hero's' games and Bullet Witch, which I did not know was on Steam and always wanted to try it out even if it maybe terrible. I did find it weird that the No More Hero's games were marked as untested, but after trying them out the first 2 seems to run smooth as hell with the third title running alright, but could use some adjusting setting wise.
Definitely enjoying it so far and can't wait to play more in the dead of night completely absorbed. And thanks for the heads-up! I was thinking of doing a let's play of it (if people like the FIRST one that comes out for Anger Foot on Tuesday) but so far I haven't encountered anything too egregious and I'm intrigued by that playing it again comment :p
I've only beaten the original NMH back in the Wii days but I'd like to complete the trilogy someday. Bullet Witch is on steam?! I've always heard that's a hidden gem and really want to try it myself!
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on UMD, Goat Simulator 3, Deep Rock Galactic (base game and survivor), the F.E.A.R. series, Trepang2, and Far Cry 5
I still have a soft spot for PSP collecting but at this point I think I have most of what I want in the library. Deep Rock was one of the earliest games I played on the Deck and enjoyed it!
I kept it light this summer sale but I picked up walking dead telltale definitive series, monster hunter rise heavy rain, undertale, and ryse son of Rome
Also picked up Far Cry Primal but ended up returning it because it doesn't work offline and I do most of my gaming in my car between Uber pickups
I think I have that on the Switch but would like to get it for PC at some point. As Monster Hunter goes it's not my favorite series but I DEFINITELY enjoyed Rise more than World! Ryse is so underrated-like not an especially deep game but I had fun with it back on the Xbox One :)
Ahhh that makes sense- can't say I blame ya.
