Veiga is a very strong player, great passer with good vision,strong tackler with a goal in him, decent free kick taker and loves to take a cheeky penalty and decent in the air and for £12 mil he’s a bargain ! Sporting directors did an amazing job yet again and I personally think he’s a much better all round baller than Calafiori ! KTBFFH !
Veiga is a big guy. He should have no trouble handling the physicality of the Prem. Also looked quite good in the few clips I've seen. Could be a bargain signing.
I think my biggest worry for this season now is that Robert Sanchez is mentioned as being our number 1 goalkeeper, I can't remember him ever having a good 90mins in a Chelsea shirt.

And this new style will be much more similar to how we finished off the season (with a bit more control) than the chaos ball we played all season Veiga looks the part. If we invert on the left both him and Cucu are expert at that and If the invert is on the right both are also comfortable LCBs and unlike Cucurella he actually has the height of a CB. Personally I love this kind of signing, a proper well scouted player.

I watch a ton of non-Chelsea specific content, and while other fans certainly are enjoying Chelsea being below expectations for a few years, there is also a feeling that Chelsea would have been top 4 challengers last season if not for injuries. It's also pretty obvious most believe Chelsea are trending upward, so seeing us predicted for top 4 isn't really that shocking.

New home kit: 🤢🤮 The white isn’t bad, and I like the colored bands at the end of the sleeves. I am so done with black kits (a trend that has been around the US furor entirely too long). At least we don’t have yellow. I know some like them, but I just hate yellow uniforms in any sport. I still like the ones with the golden flash along the flanks.
