Very good overview! A few notes:
    * 5:02 "Traits" are not merely your attributes, but also your Skills. Basically, it's everything you might roll for checks.
    * 7:00 "Armor Piercing" was a thing in SWADE as well. Mainly for firearms, but a few melee weapons did use it as well.
    * 9:55 I would have loved if you had said a few more things to these weapon enchantments because these are the thing besides class edges that SPF really added!
    * 10:13 I think the Bestiary is intended to somewhat mirror the one of the PF core rules. You have all the creatures mentioned in the core rules which you might need (So all the animal companions as well as things you might be able to summon - though I'm not sure about elementals), but nothing purely intended as an encounter. YMMV if that's a good approach.

When I was listening to SW podcasts years ago, there were stories of when games of SW and PF shared the same room at a convention. The SW podcaster was joking how the SW players were having fun, while those playing PF were doing math.

      Ha! Sounds a bit accurate!
That's really what turned me off to Pathfinder and the whole 3.X line of stuff from which PF (1E) descends. I really am not good at min-maxing, and that system attracts people who get enjoyment out of figuring out exceptions and loopholes to create ultra-powerful characters. I don't play that way, am not good at it, and don't enjoy it, so over time there was a big gap between me as a DM for that system and one of my players who really enjoys playing that way.
Savage Worlds can't really be "broken" that way and it's not particularly designed to be exploited by min-maxers, which is another reason I really enjoy it.
      Thanks for watching and commenting!

I absolutely love the Pathfinder art so I don't mind it Bing reused here. I might have to check this out.

Thank you for watching and commenting! I like the Pathfinder art, too, so it's not a problem with me but I pointed it out as I know some folks don't like paying for "recycled" art.
I'm a big fan of Savage Worlds as a system and have been having fun in the "Savage Pathfinder" game in which I've been playing. I definitely recommend checking it out!

I really enjoy the way he explain powers/magic in that the player gets to fill in the flavor of how it works for them. I love asking my players how their spells or attacks look. It gets everyone excited even when it isn’t their turn.
I also really like that they had a separate guide for Galarion. I don’t know much about PF but love lore like that. Is that something you would recommend to someone who didn’t necessarily want to play Savage Worlds but wanted to use the PF IP?

The "trappings" aspect of how powers work in Savage Worlds is one of my absolute favorite things, and it can totally be used in pretty much any game if the referee/GM/DM is cool with it. It's all just flavor with no impact on mechanics. I know a lot of D&D and Pathfinder 1E/2E players get really excited to read huge chapters of spells, but going all the way back to 1981 when I started playing, my eyes would start to glaze over while reading them. No pun intended, but they're usually written so dryly that it sucks the magic out of it. So, Savage Worlds with its very short list of powers that are all customizable really resonates with me.
Great question about the Companion. Out of the 128 pages, 4 are assigned to Prestige Edges and Magic Items. About 6 are for Artifacts. The rest is all lore/flavor text about the world, its history, its factions, etc. So, I'd say "yes," it's a good option if you're just interested in the world but less-so with the mechanics of the game. There is a really neat Encounter system in the "Adventure Generator" section that divided encounters up into different types (Coastal, Dungeon, Urban, etc.) and they has you draw cards with the suit indicating Enemies (Spades), Strangers (Hearts), Treasure (Diamonds) or Obstacles (Clubs). Then you roll a D20 with your card pull to get the exact encounter. Once again, this is a fun idea that can be used in any system - it's really just about generating ideas.
I also have a much older book called the "Pathfinder Chronicles: Campaign Setting" (which has since been updated and expanded and is called the "Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea World Guide" that was created specifically for the Pathfinder 1E game. Mechanically, it'll be closer to 5E than Pathfinder for Savage Worlds, if that matters to you at all and if you want some mechanics with your world lore. You can find more about it here: paizo.com/products/btpy8dd7?Pathfinder-Campaign-Setting-The-Inner-Sea-World-Guide-Hardcover.

@@daddyrolleda1 It's definitely a fine line with giving more options for things like spells. It's nice to provide more way for people to fulfill the fantasy they're looking to play out but it can also get overwhelming and even get to a point where you have some serious FOMO too.
I love when you find something that can be system agnostic. It sounds like they've done an outstanding job there for providing that sort of thing with the world guide companion!

I'm so stoked for this. I love PF2, but trying to run it solo is brutal. Savage worlds is a great solo engine. I didn't know this was a thing until a few days ago. Blown away!

That's so great to hear! I'm really happy I was able to share this with you, and that you found my video. And, I thank you for watching and commenting! I play in a roughly once/month Savage Worlds Pathfinder game, so if it's of interest, I can make more videos on that. So far, most of the interest on my channel seems to be the D&D history videos.
      Thanks again!

This crossover was perhaps inevitable. The Pathfinder card game is a quasi-rpg and the dice mechanics are a sort of third cousin to those of Savage Worlds.

@@daddyrolleda1 I've only played it a couple of times but I thought (a) it could form the basis of a decent rpg, and (b) it reminded me quite a bit of Savage Worlds in places.

I recall the Wyrmling showed some interest in Pathfinder - this might be a fun way to include a lot of the standard classes and ancestries he's used to from 5E but with a completely different system! It'll feel both familiar and new at the same time. 😀

At my last one shot fundraiser one of the GMs ran the Flash Gordon Savage Worlds setting and he said it was the most fun he’d ever had running a table. Try this out with Wyrmling and then come chat with me about it on my channel!!!
