    That's great work you did with the dremel carver. The wooden piece looks fabulous. Nice work!

    Intricate detail can be done with other rotary tools, not necessarily a dremel but there are other systems out there which are much cheaper than this. A friend of mine carves walking sticks using a rotary tool much like a dremel and the level of detail achieved is amazing. A high speed tool like the one in this video would be the Rolls Royce of rotary carving tools, that I'll grant you.

    Theses tools and supplies are sold by Profitable Hobbies in Utah. Google Profitable Hobbies and you'll find it. And NO, it's not the same as a Drexel, night and day difference. 10 times the speed gives you 10 times more control. It works on wood, glass, stone, metal, eggs, gourds and more.

      wich one are you talking about? I want the one for wood,glass,stone,etc Thank you

      That would be the high speed one from Profitable Hobbies. 300,000rpm vs. 35,000 max speed from a Dremel. The one from Profitable Hobbies enables you to carve on glass, wood, eggshells, steel, etc... You name it.
      Their number is (800) 624-7415

    Just a side note: While there are cheaper options ( Dremel,etc.), this tool is the Ferrari of wood carving. If your budget allows for this, go for it. Personally, I have arthritis and holding a Dremel is difficult for me. If you decide that full time woodcarving is your future, then this is not a bad deal...If you have arthritis, well worth the money! 😉😁

    @MrsAntilope google profitable hobbies and you'll get a site that sells these dental tools, expensive though, fyi means, " for your information" and you can do this with a dremel as well.

      I've owned one of their engraving packs for 22 years. No "pyramid scheme" involved anywhere in their business. WTF are you talking about?

    • @sweettooth5737
      @sweettooth5737 7 лет назад

      Where the hell did you get pyramid scheme?!? These products are introduced for a woodcarving business. Should anyone choose to buy their products ( including the instructional dvds, etc.) then what they do with them is entirely on them. If I buy a Dremel, I don't expect Dremel to make my business. While the products are pricey, it is an investment into a business. If you aren't serious yet, or simply want a fun hobby then there are cheaper options.
