As much as I love the solution of "buy more books!", when there are empty spaces on the shelf, you also dont have to exclusively keep books on the shelves. I know a room of wall to wall books is definitely the dream, but until you get there beautiful things in the same color pallette as a color themed shelf or related to your genre (so many fantasy inspired kinck-knacks exist) or even fan crafts and art for the series are great. Also, plants (no one will know if they arent real) are a natural match for books and book shelves. Congrats on the 17k subs. And I hope to see your book collection keep growing.

Idk if it’s also an offense but with my own Sarah Janet shrine I had to lay the paperbacks sideways and stack the three and I was able to put my special editions on the sides so everything fit perfectly. Your shelves came out amazingly 😊
when i have extra space i usually just lay some down horizontal which i know everyone doesn’t love but…or i put like a plant or some other decor just for the meanwhile and when i get more books i remove it and rearrange
