- This happened about 2 miles into my second lap. I had already made a couple of small mistakes after a good start and fell back to 9th. I finished this lap in 15th. I did one more lap holding this position until a mile before the end of lap 3. I couldn't take the pain in my ribs and diaphragm any longer and called it a day - finishing in 16th.

Yeah, just some really bruised ribs. I rode the following weekend - and shouldn't have. I've got The General this weekend. My only goal is to stay on two wheels and finish.

The infamous “uuugghhh”. You either knocked the wind outta ya, or broke some ribs lol, not in between, and both make you feel like you’re about to die 😂 glad you were all good
It was bad enough I got x-rays. They said nothing was broke. But then I fell a couple times the following weekend - and stretched out my healing process. lol

Watching my video, I saw that I almost got too sideways in the same spot my first lap too. Thanks. I'm on the mend now. Just finished the GNCC in GA yesterday. What a slop-fest that was.
