@@stovepipe666 Do you have any machine diagrams? I am restoring an old Union Chemnitz B-80 but there is no technical information on it. I think the BFT model is a newer model B and they probably have a similar device. I would be very grateful to you for any information.
@@stovepipe666 I am looking for a foundation design. Information on machine mechanics is also very much needed. It is necessary to repair the feed box, I know that there is a rather complex structure. It's stupid to climb there without schemes. Thank you very much! Oleg.
@@BelOd-c7s if you look up the website lathes.co.uk he sells the book it dose not go into detail on the gearbox more of a operators manual and wiring diagrams but it covers the older machines as well, i had to remove the gearbox to make up a new bush for one of the feed shafts its not that complicated inside there if you watch where everything goes its a clever and simple design and easy to remake any part for it

@@stovepipe666 Probably a 40's machine. 3.5" spindle bore with a MT5. Comes complete with a tailstock too.
@@hilltopmachineworks2131 should be a nice size with the mt5, what weight is it? they take up a nice bit of space in the shop when are you fitting it
