An average drill rotates at a Mac speed of 30mph (I found this out by wiring it up to my speedo). With your body weight on top of that it's gonna go nowhere haha. Oh and can I have a go on it? Haha

Plenty of things would influence his speed in fact. Mostly gearing here. But how charged your batteries are/how old and yes, his weight plus that of the bike and all doesn't help I guess. Could be fun for a kid's project I guess. If he switched his gearing out he just might be able to move a bit faster though!
