    Hi, Very nice video, but few things are not clarified here.
    1. How can we edit/change the timings of the Servers start and stop ?
    2. The logs created will utilize how much space?
    3. The schedules in the Automation Account, were created earlier ? How to create them? Whats the use of StartBootStrap?
    4. How can you make edits in the time slots once created at everyplace you used.

    Why the title is "step by step trpubleshooting issue"? Which issue you have troubleshooted in this video?

      Generally, sometimes VM start and stop will not work as per our expectation due to some code updates. Just check that time to time.

    you have used Automation account, Log Analytics but not Azure monitor.
    my question is how to use azure monitor for auto start/stop VM's and create alerts, email notification.

    Is this method has pricing? does it charge to automate start and stop vm? if there is a charge, is there a free method for automating it?

      Hi, Thanks for asking. Generally it's going to charge you but it's depend upon your requirement because 5 GB log analytics is free and function trigger is also free. so, if you are doing auto start stop for 1, 2 vm then it's ok.

      @@LinuxFork i want it work for only one VM. so will it be free?

    • @LinuxFork
      @LinuxFork  Год назад

      @@m_kaizzz It will not charge. Just maintain cap on log Analytics work space. Because till 5GB data it's free.
