  • Julie Andrews told AM to DM that "Mary Poppins" was a "fine, wonderful film" to kick off her movie career because it taught her so much about special effects, animation, and patience. Plus why she felt "evil" when she visited the real Von Trapp house.

The sound of music is one of my all time favourite films,I grew up in the sixties, and the first time I saw it in my convent school I just loved it,I still watch it,and all the happy memories of those times comes back. Julie should be so proud of that film, and the joy it's brought to so many people. 💗💗💗

Who does not fall in love with Julie? This interview is awesome, it focuses on her book, amazing ! She truly inspires. Her relationship with her daughter is pure joy. I love how they came up with the title Home Work

Dame Julie looks much younger than she is!
I feel relaxed hearing her voice. Maybe it's because I'm stressed at the moment that it calms me down listening to her.

Such a wonderful interview! I absolutely LOVED reading Home and am enjoying Home Work now. Thank you so much Dame Julie Andrews and Emma Walton Hamilton for both of these books. It affects me so deeply on so many levels and for a woman who has always struggled with reading comprehension and has not developed a passion for reading I am grateful for the excitement I feel reading these memoirs. I am reading The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles with my 12 year old son now who is enjoying it with me!

Pathetic that the interviewer has to hold an iPad

Fishing for Julie Andrews to say a curse word to use as clickbate was fairly obvious and terrible.

It's a sad irony that Julie and Emma's hugely successful career as authors of children's books came about(at least in part) because of Julie's forced retirement from singing in the late 1990s!

What an odd question to ask: hey curse on tv..... Obviously not for todays generation that every other word is a curse word so it shows in that question and that's sad but to each their own

Yes but imagine what they could do with a video or recording of julie Andrew's saying a curse word
