No, it is his original song. He is a composer, musician and a writer. Crowds singing with him cause it is one of the most popular Iranian pop songs. And guitar is huge in Iranian music, so that's why there is similarity with Spanish music. Great reaction. Cheers!

    this is my translation:
name of the song: I promise you
    name of singer: Mohsen Yeganeh
you wish to leave and become a memory
but you have pity, you pretend that you love me
this is day to day game don't be frantic
    anyone before leaving has anxiety
two days passes these anxieties will go away
I promise you, it is not hard
at least for you, so relax
I am far off, from you and your universe
    so relax
no one can take your place
I am agitated for your future
I promise you, it is not hard
at least for you, so relax
I am far off, from you and your universe
    so relax
no one can take your place
I am agitated for your future
    🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼
anything that I comprehend from love
    you snared away from me
you, you sized my left over sentiment
    you desire to become me
and forget, there is no more you and me
    you are prepared to depart
but your fright, won't allow it
    don't be frightened at all
    go with ease without me
no one can remember me but you
imagine, who is aware of my existence
go with ease, no one notices
I promise you, it is not hard
at least for you, so relax
I am far off, from you and your universe
    so relax
no one can take your place
I am agitated for your future
I promise you, it is not hard
at least for you, so relax
I am far off, from you and your universe
    so relax
no one can take your place
I am agitated for your future

hi frank, i'd suggest u listen to iranian classical music, it's truly something els, i'll gave a a song: Mohammadreza Shajarian - Gholame Cheshm
    it's heavenly

    • @cyrusmoqadam5894
      @cyrusmoqadam5894 3 года назад

@@spockbella yes, that's exactly d reason i suggested it, i wanted him to focus on shajarian's great voice and vocals.
then if he liked it i have a ton of classical iranian music that has instruments to it for him to listen to, but mostly it's d vocals and singing in iranian classical that's different from other classical cultures

Hi Frank ! A bit late but better than never. You mentioned the guitar as spanish and the influence of the moors in south Italy.
The word "guitar" is derived from the old Persian "chartar" which, in direct translation, means "four strings".
The guitar's ancestors came to Europe from Egypt and Mesopotamia.
Moor comes from the Latin Mauroi, meaning an inhabitant of North Africa. The Carthaginians, for instance, came from North Africa. Moorish influence in the peninsula goes back thousands of years, but it was the Islamic invasion, by largely Berber armies in 711, that determined the main musical influences from North Africa. They called the Iberian Peninsula Al-Andalus, from which the name of Andalusia derives. The Moorish and Arab conquerors brought their musical forms to the Peninsula, and at the same time, probably gathered some native influence in their music. The Emirate, and later Caliphate of Córdoba became a center of influence in both the Muslim and Christian worlds and it attracted musicians from all Islamic countries. One of those musicians was Zyriab (Ali ibn Nafi (789-857AD) , who imported forms of Persian music, revolutionized the shape and playing techniques of the Lute (which centuries later evolved into the vihuela and the guitar), adding a fifth string to it, and set the foundations for the Andalusian nuba, the style of music in suite form still performed in North African countries.www.timenet.org/detail.html
But Ziryab was much more than a musician. A polished conversationalist, he was a trendsetter in fashion (style of clothes and their colours changed according to the season), an advocate of personal hygiene (he introduced toothpaste, deodorants, hair shampoo and perfumes), and also a connoisseur of fine food.
At a time when eating in Europe was a matter of crude consumption with little or no attention to refinement, Ziryab looked on eating an aesthetic, harmonious experience: a source of pleasure to all the senses, and attended by rules of etiquette and table manners.

Parts of Spain did occupied by arab moors too no? Many of their style and culture also influenced by arab which also influenced from persia, so technically spanish guitar influenced from arab/persia but ofc it got adapted to their own spanish unique style so it became their own music such as flamenco :)

The lyrics of the song 'I promise you' By Mohsen Yeganeh
You wanna become a memory but fail and show off to love me as your daily games
Don’t fear as everyone worries at the time of leaving and these worries will perish turn into memos over a couple of days
I bet it's no hard at least for you, mellow out as I'm far off from you & your world
Don’t worry, no one would replace you, I got worries for your tomorrow
I promise it's not hard ,at least for you, mellow out as I'm far off from you & your world
Don’t worry, no one would replace you, I got worries for your tomorrow
On loving you, I took all I had
You just remained and you took my feelings
And wish to keep up yourself and forget our being us and you are ready to leave off but your fears hinder you
Don’t be all scared and get off without me as no one remembers me but you
You thought who would know of me, just leave as no one gets to know this
I promise it's not hard, at least for you, mellow out as I'm far off from you & your world
Don’t ever worry, no one would replace you, I got worries for your tomorrow
I promise it's not hard, at least for you, mellow out as I'm far off from you and your world and in search of you
Don’t ever worry, no one would replace you, I got worries for your tomorrow
Our path was the same but the destination off part with the heart full off sorrows
    oh my God

“tar” pronounced as taar means strand/string. Sehtar=3tar=3strings; sitar=30tar=30 strings (well it’s 16 strings now used mostly by Indians) and finally guitar=?tar ... I have no idea what “gui” means! Did a thorough search to only come up with the meaning as “expensive” in Chinese! Anyone knows? Perhaps Mongolian???
I also researched the word “tar” and only in Persian it means “strand” (or thin string). Ex: tar e moo (strand of hair). Remember that first musical instrument “harp” was invented in Persia.. My guess is it was in the region known as the present Turkmenistan/Tajikistan or Uzbekistan a couple of thousands of years before BC. If I recall right, Barbad was the fellow who first came up with it. If anyone can shed more lights please be my guest.

@@spockbella Barbat was a native instrument of the Persian Empire, which after the Arabs invaded the lands of Persia, was transferred to the lands of the Arabs and then made into Arabic oud, then the Arabs attacked Andalusia and later the Arabic oud was taken to Andalusia by Master Zyryab. And this instrument develops there to become what it is today.

@@spockbella You can search for "barbat" more relevant research. As for "tar", it is an original Iranian word, and of course "gui" is originally "ki", which means kingdom in Persian, like "Ki" Van and King "Ki" Khosrow, this instrument was played by nobles and therefore it is called "kitar" Called.
