People saying it's better than Battlefield are just biased by a shiny new toy. It's not even better than 2042, which it shamelessly derives from. Some of the assets look like they were lifted straight out of 2042. And I can't watch more than 20mins of people playing the extraction mode. Streamers want so badly for this to take off since Warzone is faltering, and Battlefield isn't doing anything. Every shooter RUclipsrs videos for the last two weeks are "I'M ADDICTED TO DELTA FORCE." More like they're pushing a new product for content than playing a game they really enjoy.
Who gives AF let people like what they wanna like! Gaming community is annoying acting as if only COD or BF exist and other games can't be good or fun ..this is an ALPHA and runs better than 2042 which has been out for 3 years now?? Pretty sad
Modern era is boring. There's so much some enterprising dev could do with an alt-history game. 70s Cold War kicks off. Continuation of WW2. Continuation of WW1. Anything that would bring in historical, period, distinct, varied weapons before everything looks like every other goddam black rifle with red dot scope (because "attachment system" that is 90% ignored because of metas). Same with environments/vehicles. An in an alt-history scenario they can get creative and bring in even stranger, experimental weapons (kind of what BF1 did anyway). Modern era is boring.
Nah. My favorite thing in the entire world is history. I live and breathe medieval and Renaissance era. It’s almost all I read about. I love other periods as well.i love WW1 and 2. When it comes to first person shooters however: modern, near future, or future. Historical shooters are absolutely boring and extremely limited. Battlefield 1 was amazing but that was a once in a lifetime thing. If I NEVER see WW2 in a video game it’ll be two soon. I have the same revulsive feeling when I see a WW2 game as when I see anything Star Wars. I’m absolutely sick of both. Modern shooters are where it’s at.
@@JetConvoy I said, pretty clearly, that there are many possibilities for alt history scenarios that would highly entertaining. Including allowing in experimental. BF1 was brilliant, no argument. And something similar can absolutely be done again. So long as the youtube tryhard l33t 'hardcore' sweats aren't listened to. They whined incessantly (and wrongly) about BF1. Again, like every other modern shooter it's black rifles w/red dot and an attachment system that is rapidly min/maxed and meta'd so 90% is meaningless. There's an endless stream of modern black rifle "operator" shooters. Modern is boring and unimaginative and samey as it gets. No way around it.
