- Welcome to another video! Today, we'll be taking a ride with Metrolink which is a commuter rail service serving the greater Los Angeles area in Southern California. Our journey starts at the stunning LA Union Station where we'll board a San Bernardino Line Train towards San Bernardino - Downtown. We'll ride as far as Rancho Cucamonga where we will catch the ONT Connect shuttle over to Ontario International Airport. Along the way, we'll check out the onboard experience and see some beautiful mountainous scenery. Come with me as I take a ride aboard Southern California's commuter rail, Metrolink!

So, in the not-too-distant future, one will take the MetroLink from downtown LA to Rancho Cucamonga then hop aboard the BrightLine bullet train to Las Vegas? 👍
Yes
Thank you for this great video, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The Metrolink trains are generally very good, and what a good idea to use the Ontario bus connection !
Are the '380 ONT Connect' buses free for students to reach the airport ?
Looking at this in hopes of seeing if this can be electrified for Brightline west to come all the way to Union station
The wires would have to be quite high unless they use 3rd rail. Also, Metrolink owns the San Gabriel sub so they might not be happy letting brightline clog up their territory.
@@CatBot007 metrolink can act as a feeder to brightline something which they are keen on doing so they might just be fine with sharing. 3rd rail doesn’t seem likely tho but yeah catenary might be tough.
This is a great video. Anyone can give me directions on how to get from Los Angeles California Union Staion to Santa Ana california.
If you want you can take the amtrak pacific surfliner to Santa ana station and uber/bus to your final destination
Otherwise you essentially follow the 5 fwy southbound
You caught the LAUSD school buses on 7:35
