@@olivergarcia4259 I will always root for Mcbeth but Kyle has become my 2nd favorite after watching how solid and consistent he is.. and like you said so young looking forward to what he’s gonna do this season.
This is the first time I watched two separate coverages simultaneously. Starting hole 14 I watched chase card, then lead card for every hole. It's a pain on a single mobile device but on a computer it would be fine. I wonder if we'll have coverage that comes packaged that way in the future. Thanks Gatekeeper and congrats Kyle Klein!
Kyle has super smooth form backhand/forehand. Really nice player. Cole could easily have shot 15 down - bogeyed two easy par 4’s and probably should have thrown the forehand on 15. I’m surprised none of the big sponsors picked him up. Plus he probably didn’t throw more than a 70% power shot all day. Wait til we get to OTB open. You’ll see how far he throws
Great consistent putting and smart play Kyle. This is coming from the 1st PDGA Earl B. Pro 83' (Sub 3k No.) I just tried to put Earl on the PDGA map of courses. Exemplary representation, carry on.
Just need 1 person to explain Redalen trying to go for it on Hole 15? Extreme headwind. Almost never gets birdied even when it’s calm. Only down 1!!! No caddy advice?! Age cost him this time.
@@skylarboydennot sure why yours got 2 likes already lol. Paul was down 3 strokes with 4 holes to play he had no choice but to go for it if he wanted any chance to win. If you watch closer, Kyle WAS NOT going for it. Just threw a bad shot and got lucky. Redalen was only down 1. It’s all situational. Hence why it was a terrible decision in the moment.
Im sure you noticed the scorecard - Cole had multiple turkeys after a bogey. Dude was not out to lay up anything this round. Hes a champion at heart, and playing things a bit smarter may come with age, but taking chances with exceptional talent is also how greatness is forged. He clearly can afford to make mistakes like that and still place. Thats easy to see because he did. With how good he already is, its his gameplay approach to learn and develop. Nate made all the safe plays for us cautions spectators today.
who cares about whether they come 5th or 6th, especially when they're like 17 years old or whatever, he's not worrying about paying the rent, he's trying to win a disc golf competition, might as well just go for it
Paul is my 🐐. Favorite player since 2009. But if and I stress IF there is one thing I don’t like it’s that if he knows he can’t win then he packs it in. Easily could have been top 5. I understand it’s not a win but it means something down the road for Player of the Year and just finishing strong.
My thoughts exactly. I started playing/watching in 2021 and he's easily my favorite player. I don't know if he gives up or if he starts playing unnecessarily aggressive. Either way I want to see him win, and if not, at least finish well!
@@Riannacaswell1 oh wow. Yea so you’re pretty new to the sport. He’s always been like this. Probably have watched every round he’s ever been recorded on ever, so i’d know. Lol
@@TheAeroRising Thanks for the good perspective! I wasn't sure if this was something new (although I've gone back and watched a lot of his rounds from prior years as well!).
The thing is, if he has a bad first round, which can lead to him looking dejected and like he gave up, that often leads to the fire we all know and love in the later rounds. He has had so many bad first rounds and ended up winning by the last round, which comes from that inner fire to win. Thats just his thing. He doesnt settle for top 5. He has to win.
Jerm mentioned that McBeth had poison ivy on his EYES this weekend, which is why he has the sunglasses on. I think if you take that in to account/if youve ever had a bad case of it, thats just not a fun time in the moment, hard to cope with.
That's funny. She was so excited for him... how cute. This sport is still so wholesome even on the professional level. Case in point. The most unassuming couple in the world is walking out of there with a check, a trophy and a wonderfully documented memory. Love it.
I appreciate the coverage, but the spoilers are killing me. I found myself scrambling to grab my remote and skipping shots so I can still enjoy the lead card.
I was trying, I watched both front nines first, but I think it's basically not possible to watch the two top cards without figuring out who won, unless you have the sound off and know when to look away. Not really worth the effort.!
@@subspaceanomaly It's quite possible. I do it every tournament, switching off every 1-3 holes at a time. However, this one was especially difficult and Queen did spoil Adam's ace for me... overall, I'd say they do a pretty nice job avoiding spoilers on both ends.
What is Uli salty about? He seems annoyed to be there and talks to Jerm and Nate like they’re obnoxious children at times. Clearly some weird chemistry in the commentary booth.
McBeth will probably win 5 tournaments in europe with weak competition. Still a great player but rest of the field is getting way better every year and he’s getting worse. Very mistake prone - played the 18th hole 7 over the last two rounds if LVC/Waco. That doesn’t get you the trophy.
The fact that Kyle Klein won the first event shows these guys are getting old. Not saying Klein is good but like how do you lose to this skeleton of a thing
I don't want to be disrespectful or anything, but I think this commentary is boring. Queen and Fish are too objective IMO and they are not really vibing...🥱
Kyle's whisper to his Caddy at the end, "I just fucking won?" haha
Cynthia a few moments before... "it's ok, it's ok, I can't stand. I just pooped my pants!" 🤣
Thanks GateKeeper for the coverage and Fish and Queen for the commentary 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Kyle Klein is my favorite male Pro. And Waco needs to stay on the pro tour forever. It's had some of the best finishes of all time.
He's just a baby too, isn't even old enough to buy pina colada yet. I'm excited to see him grow

he's easily the best player i've witnessed. incredible form and control with obvious refrain

Great win!!
Congrats Kyle!
came here after jomez to see the Card with the WINNER!!!!

Idk if it’s just me, but watching players like Sexton or big Jerm who are forehand dominant is not even close to as enjoyable.
Why are people driving all over hole 13 fairway I wonder? Very strange. MChap on the bag for Kyle I see.
