@BlackDeathViral03 They didn't have a great offense. They had the best offense ever. And no Gase didn't "hOlD tHe PlAyBoOk", he wrote it. Peyton played a lot of years, and there have been and still are a lot of great QBs, but only one greatest offense ever statistically, and Adam Gase created it.
Gase was a tremendous OC and QB coach, but not every coordinator can become a good HC, It's a whole different task and role. For years and years we saw brilliant offensive and defensive minds who turns to be terrible HCs, some of them just doesn't have the mindset or the leadership to be successfull at HC in NFL.
@@MattW-ro2kz I think it's some serious hyperbole to call that offense "the greatest offense ever". This is the same offense that got stopped cold by the Legion of Boom in the Super Bowl. As a Broncos fan, I’ve always liked Sam. Never understood the hate for him he’s clearly a very talented quarterback on a bad team. I think the Jets may surprise people next year
In the Jets defense they’ve acquired more then 6+ offensive linemen through the draft and free agency, in the last two years, including their first round pick in this years draft. So it isn’t necessarily for a lack of effort, offensive line is an incredibly difficult job, and generally it’s more dependent on good coaching. Look at most of the top lines in the NFL, there’s generally only one maybe two first round picks on the same line, save for Dallas because Jerry loves dominant o-lines. I wouldn’t say rebuilding teams haven’t learned imo, more so it’s really hard to find guys to block the most athletic players on the field, pass rushers even average ones are freak athletes.

Brett kollmann made a video on the seeing ghosts game. They would line up in cover 0, and blitz one more than the jets had to protect. If the blitzers didn’t get in free, they would drop back into coverage. Watch bretts video, he’s better at explaining this than me.

Tough to say not even an OC cause he was OC of literally the most prolific offense ever. And yeah I know Peyton was there but there's been lots of great QBs, and Peyton played a lot of seasons. Adam Gase's was still the best though.
Adam Gase never follows a script it seems. Every football team I’ve been apart of in my life has always done opening drive scripts, and for some reason Gase doesn’t want to do that? Every play call seems so uncalculated with receivers not knowing what to run/running routes not confidently, linemen miscommunications, and more. It’s bizarre
I would say Adam Gase does script the opening drives. If you noticed last season the jets offense for some reason throughout the season was very good on the opening drive but would usually fizzle out as the game went on. I actually think Gase has a good script for games, his problem is just that he cannot adjust AT ALL. Once the defense makes changes, Gase does not adjust well.
I mean Gase does have a winning record with his QB1 in play. Plus after starting 1-7 the team didn't give up and they finished 7-9, which says a lot about his ability to keep the guys together. Jury is still out on Gase if you're smart, if you're dumb you think he's the worst HC ever cause of the patriots game.
I think Gase is a horrible coach but what the GM is doing there is amazing. Fantastic draft this year with some huge steals. Something else to keep in mind besides age when looking at his development is the fact he received ZERO coaching at 'SC. The abysmal draft #s under that bum helton would attest to as much. Darnold is a gamer. All the talking heads in the media who love to create drama for the sake of clicks & views, ala the "ghost game" who thinks this kid gets easily rattled should be forced to spend a season behind that embarrassment of a line left as a parting gift by m. mac.
Sam needs helps hes a great qb but damm the offense is shitty
Go Broncos.
As a Patriots fan... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
What an astute rebuttal.
Where did your quarterback go?
How can you keep a HC like that after the NE game?
You guys the jets haven't fired a head coach mid season since 1976
@@VMan29397 Mid season was a long time ago! Must be more to it, maybe money, maybe they don't think it was Gase's fault! Gase was bad in Miami and should never have been hired in the first place!
Can you do a film analysis on josh Allen’s 2020 season
i wouldn't limit it to JA's 2020 season. from his first start in the 2019 season to the time he got back from injury he played different, and was a lot of growth. there was the same type of growth in the 2020's season too.
Sam Darnold can be successful but I don’t think it will be with the Jets
USC QBs in the NFL is a curse for those poor QBs either they suck or never had a good team I’d put Sam in the Palmer Category terrible teams
Joe D is working wonders in NY so far. Another year or 2 of that man running the show I think the Jets will be fine.
Ngl, I didn't like him coming out of college
Dude went to overtime against a not great at the time Texas team
Didn't seem to exactly inspire his teammates, now, I am a Notre Dame fan so there is bias, but when looking at going to the NFL I try to take all the bias out of what I see
