Just found your channel... It's Great Thanks. I have been going to the cove every year except this one. We went this year, had a medical issue and had to cancel. We have a Hallett 270. and I have been laid up and have been watching your channel. We are thinking about a trip end of September or early in October. Then in 2004 June early in July again in September and October. We would love to hook up with you on one of our trips. Bruce and Roxanne.

I was ONCE a fan of Cottonwood Cove Marina from 2005-2016ish...but once it was taken over, it turned into a more tyrant type of marina with park rangers and sheriffs monitoring the place like it was a prison....especially at their campground. SOoooOOoo RIDICULOUS. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise because now, all the boat rentals/lodging bookings I do is at Katherine's Landing which is cheaper for sure...However, Katherine's Landing don't have houseboats which is disappointing but I would just rent multiple pontoon boats and had to buy camping gear to camp on the cove that we decide to stay at for our trip. Whoever that park ranger is at Cottonwood Cove, you gotta chill out man. Geez, families are trying to enjoy a nice weekend at your campgrounds and spend $$$ at your marina. I'll probably NEVER go back to be honest. Remove the tyrant park ranger/sheriff or whoever....I might reconsider. It takes a bad experience several times after being a patron for over 10 years to be turned off. Just saying.
That’s unfortunate, I’ve had bad experiences that cause me never to return to places as well. Katherine’s landing is very laid back. Hopefully you have a better experience with them. That’s where we stay. Also has a hotel. Take care.
