    I'm using Plazmaman (aka Vibrant, aka any Wiggins clamp style) V-band connections with O-rings instead of silicon hoses just because they don't tend to expand on high boost (30+ psi) and much easier to mount when you're time limited.

      They are preferred but majority of customers don’t care to add the cost

    Why you putted copper block on IC during welding?

      I do that on the ends so as to prevent the arc from striking the fins plus keeping unnecessary heat out of the cores braze
