Nice job, great explanation.
Question, what is up with the tiny little ground wire on the second battery, but the huge positive side wire?
Wow! That is a nice complete kit they're putting out.
Couldn’t agree more! When I opened it I was surprised by the quality of everything for the price!
Your rig is looking awesome!
Thanks Brian we appreciate it 😊 your camper is looking sick with the new wood stove and we hope your truck gets fixed fast!!! 🤞🏼
I finally beat you to doing a mod! Lol I love the Auxbeam kit
Dang it! 😂 I’m really impressed with the kit and I’m glad I got it!
That switch panel is nice! I’d love a KC light bar but they are $3000 here in Australia!
Thanks for watching! That’s absolutely insane, They need to be cheaper there! What light brands do they have there in Australia?
It took me a minute to realize you were calling fuses switches.
I forgot to fix that while editing! 😂 thanks for watching man
@@2AOverland great video. Just binged half your stuff.
Great Video
Thank you so much 😊
How did you wire the kc lights to the auxbeam fuse box. I bought the flex 4 lights and have the nilight 6 gang switch. And not sure on how to go about connecting them. Since the lights come with a 3 wire harness
I had to connect two wires together to make it work with the switch kit but I forgot which ones. I do remember talking about it on the video though
any guesses what thread that screw is for the mounting plate for the gang panel is, my spot is missing it.
I honestly have no clue 😬
Did the KC roof lights went directly into the gang switch as in power and ground or the wiring harness with relays etc had to be used? I'm having a weird issue with mines. It's uncontrollable via gang switch
Thanks for watching! Let me check again for you but I know I had to use the relays plugged in also unfortunately
@@2AOverland That'd be awesome. When that's the case. What set of wires from the KC harness had to go on the switch panels?
What model of KC’s are you wiring up? I did the main thicker (yellow +) and (black -) power wires to the switch panel. And the smaller yellow wire I connected to the smaller green wire to bypass the amber background lights so they didn’t stay on constantly. And I didn’t do anything with the white wires just let them hang.
@2A_Overland I have pro6s very similar harness. I gotta mess around with combinations I guess. I had them running on their original harness for the past 2 years but I wanted to simplify wiring so I got the gang switch. Everything else I have is simple power and ground and voila but KCs don't work that way for whatever the reason is.
Can you wire multiple lights to one switch ?
I don’t see why not! You’ll need to make sure you’re within the amps of the fuse you use but I’m guessing you could
Where did you end up grounding it
Just on a random bolt under the hood
Did you run this off of your start battery or house battery? I would want o run it off of my house battery but didnt know if you could with the add a fuse...
Thanks for watching! I ran it off my starter battery and it’s been great so far. I don’t see an issue off running it off the house battery if you’re constantly pushing power to it off the alternator while it’s running.
Do you know if you can put in higher Amp fuses in the fuse block
I’m not entirely sure to be honest 😬 I know based off the 30A fuses you could run something that needs a lot of power. One of the stickers they provide said “welder” on it so it could handle some large stuff. I would call them and ask
@@2AOverland thanks
No problem. If it wasn’t the weekend I’d call them for us and pick their brain cause I’m interested in that too lol but they’re probably closed. I might check and I’ll keep you updated
