I tried to recreate Pimblokto's recipe with my friend but he got really confused when I asked him to wangjangle my ingredients, like who doesn't know how to properly wangjangle!?!
Some people's parents just don't want to put in the effort to teach their children how to cook. It's not his fault and it's definitely not something to publicly shame him on the internet for. You could've at least directed him to a good educational source. Like that "I find you moderately appalling at preparing meals" guy.

This was the first time I'd even seen Pimblokto and I felt sad seeing him go. It wasn't even the sad music being cheap and manipulative (like in a lot of things), there was actual character and empathetic/sympathetic drama there. And despite having a robotic voice, Pimblokto really sounded sad. Great dialog, great acting, great use of "robotic arms" for gestures to enhance the intentions of Pimblokto and the sadness of the scene, great juxtaposition of comedic lines and melancholic reactions. Beautiful stuff.

I too struggle with crustlovers in my life. My whole family prefers the crust of the pizza. I try to take comfort in the fact that it's more middle pieces for me, but I cannot escape from the creeping feeling that my family is probably deeply sad inside.

Magnus Everyone thinks I eat pizza backwards, but they are wrong. They're eating the pizza backwards, because they have to eat the crust last. It's better to eat it right away and get it over with.
I vaguely recall reading somewhere that there's actually some debate over 'starchy' being recognized as a specific taste/flavor. 'Umami' recently being accepted as a specific taste sense seems to have opened up minds a bit.
Obviously, 'starchy' references the taste sensation provided by rice/bread/flour, etc. i.e. Pizza crust.
There's a reason people love bread so much, why it's so hard to remove from one's diet. For me, it's about the texture. Obviously pizza crust is unhealthy, but a pizza with no crust isn't truly a pizza.
If you're worried about calories when you're eating pizza, you're doing it wrong.
