Your selling a experience? lol bruh how ??? Your selling a service $45 is ok because you won’t be getting a tip. And the fact you just gonna raise your prices with out notice for your loyal costumers is just wild. Fellas just learn how to cut your own hair. New barbers keep your cuts around $30-40 and you’ll still all these scammers costumers
A haircut is not an experience. It is a good something that is needed. an experience would be, not just a haircut, but massaging the temple, the neck, the shoulder, etc., hot tower over face, face wash. hey hey now that’s an experience straight razor shave come on
People like you never tip but got the nerve to expect us to come in early or cut on off days for the same price. That's why we go up, to run y'all annoying mfs off and gain clients that appreciate and value what we do.
The most ill pay is $25 i dont want no design no extra gel just cut my hair but it was difficult for a babrber to do that so i cut my own hair and im selling my own experience now
yeah cuz the barebers be taking they sweeeeet asss time making it last so it seems like they went above and beyond but shit be croooked lol 25 is great in 04 it was 18 id give 23 then it went up to 25 i was like damn aiight and still tipd 5 bucks but now at 30 im like shit its not worth it to me i dont get a fucking simpole asss busss fade tahts it
Ayo bro thanks for video. I agree with you that a GREAT cut can change a persons life, confidence and overall day. Barbers jobs are important as they add to a personals professional development, image and brand. However, I think it’s not good customer service to not notify clients that prices will increase. Despite grocery stores and other industries doing it it takes away from good customer service when my barber for 3 years just boast price with no notice. Your price is your price, never trying to undermine the price at which you rate your value as a barber, but good customer service goes a long way and barber client loyalty is unmatched. My barber raised prices during pandemic and I was not happy with it but he sent out a notice letting his clients know and I can respect that. I do think there are too many barbers charging prices for a service they aren’t providing. A good cut worth $50-70 to me includes - ( washing hair, small designs like parts, lines mini crosses, any small enhancements like black out and hair fibers, razor finish. The fade must be crisp before any enhancements! Too many deceptive tapers with black out). As prices raise it takes away from ppl tipping. I always tip even if I can’t if my barbers done a good job. But there is an influx of barbers who cut 1 rapper and now they are a celebrity barber charging $150 for a basic cut🤦🏾♂️ Ppl will pay for good cuts ! Being booked and “busy” Dosent qualify you being a good barber. But great topic video Ideal cut price $50-70 Extra for any at home or travel cuts
Barbers are not being respected for their trade as much as we should,Yea some customers do go above the price and pay for wht they receive,God bless them,Barbers put in a Work and contributes i'l say 80% Of how sumone feel abt them self and we deserve to be appreciated.
barbers are greedy, just cuz theyre the boss of their own. Theres a lot of harder and skillful job that makes less than what barber are demanding. thats crazy
@@thangmm9721 How tf you gone tell a barber that's constantly booked up that he should charge less? lol and it's def not easy otherwise good barbers would be easy to find. Only people that never did the job think it's easy. Cutting the homies don't make you a barber.
In 2025 the days of $25 dollar haircut is over now don’t get me wrong I’m not talking about charging someone $70 $80 dollars for a cut but $35 to $45 is more than reasonable at this time and most of the people saying the haircut should remain the same as they were back in like 2010 probably complaining to their barber if their shape up is off a tenth of mm in other words you want a quality $70 cut for $20 nah brah take that mentality to footlocker when the new Jordans come and you are more than willing to pay $ 200 for some shoes that where made in china for $3 dollars. In my experience, men dont like spending much on their haircuts. I am starting to think the only person who can tell a good cut from a bad cut is other barbers. If you are a barber and you are too busy, raise your price. If you want to make more money, do cheap haircuts. Just remember there is more to life than money.
