Not to mention, my monthly quota for Elevenlabs has been exceeded by quite an amount already. I think I'll enjoy a few days break after this one🤤.
Using AI I trained a RVC model of her, and used it to convert my own voice into Mika's. For the rest I used Elevenlabs Text to Speech for the base voice audio, which I also convert via RVC models of the respective character.
@@synapon wow my man that's really amazing, usually from what I've seen (say, rn the popular one is Aris) the english still has that japanese accent which makes most english dialogue have that "engrish" sound, I've never heard anyone convert it so well especially with a voice model that doesn't have english (i mean, unless woaw counts), this is comparable tp bilingual vtuber voice sampling which is insane
@@kisato2687 The problem with the accent can be helped by turning down the index setting, which will also make the voice lose a bit of characteristic. So you need to find balance in that. Many people use the online Sovits Alice model, which doesn't offer that setting I think. Still, it is quite hard and time consuming to work with these models, as you need to find and feed it with a style of speech that is similar to the original voice, or it will sound very robotic or distorted. In Mika's case, she talks very up and down, which is almost impossible to replicate with the available English AI text to speech voices. Luckily, my attempt at imitating her speech did a fine enough job.
