I read and laughed at the same comment Daniel mentions. That podcast is made all the better by the comment section. Excellent guest, this is important to so many lifelong practitioners. Many of us have found we must add to our practice(*from other traditions), and lineage, traditions, cultures... all tend to hinder devout practice. Like a 'strictly' Theravadin vipassana teacher - whom adds Vedic and Christian thought and practice. This is what we need more of. Not less.

Would absolutely love if Daniel Ingram got in touch with Dr K on twitch. Spreading the word of meditation to the gaming community considering Dr K himself has had 15+ years of meditation experience and he loves talking about it. I've noticed a lack of awareness on the dark night and the negative effects that meditation might bring in how he teaches meditation to the his audience. Great conversation btw!
    his twitch is Healthygamer_GG.

Daniel is so confusing. Reading his book.... how wise and eye opening, inspiring, possibly life changing etc. But then he spends all this time here on this trip about how Gen-Xers have more resilience than Millennials and other nonsense. Seems like narcissistic identification to me. Lol.

This was code for "young millennial girls, impressed w a book and a doctorate? You who wouldn't know someone w a genuine spiritual practice if they saw it. let me , Daniel, teach you, your older dhamma Dom daddy....thich naht who?;Eckhart Tolle....? Nah nah nah my little manipulatee ....I'm enlightened. (This is so much easier, manipulating hippie chicks than trying to do so in the chaos/Crowley/thelema I did for years to trick others into doing my will"
Ladies and gentlemen. please. There is absolutely nothing that resonates from this guy which rings true. Knowledge of the deeper lesser known texts is pointless if the teacher isn't authentic. This is the antithesis of the teachings of the Buddha, Krishna and Jesus. It upsets me that so transparent a glfigure has an actual legit platform. So, I tend to be humorously sarcastic to express.

@@saucyjk6453 Thank you for your passive aggressive response. You sound jealous. I have a doctorate. AND a genuine spiritual practice. Do you? Something tells me you really think you do.
You should learn to respect millennial "girls", who are very much women at this point.

@@MissBardoJeep Yes, Miiss Bardo, I do have a doctorate in music and another in russian literature. i taught at a college outside of Philadelphia for 25 years but this is not relevant, unless your aim was to claim victory because of a piece of paper and title. As for spiritual practice, again, this is not sports... but i do meditate 4 hours daily and have a direct communication w the creator. Wishing you peace and light.

@@MissBardoJeep the point is this guy is as obvious as a con artist, and if you had a spiritual practice that worked you would know this. maybe you do, you were on point about his dissing one generation while elevating another. i was not trying to do the same. young spiritual seekers in general are more impressionable than those older. male or female. and yes, i think the current generation of young people are far more aware.

Yeah this is one of the problems I have with Ingram interviews is the amount of time he spends on politics. Love it when he goes into actual practice advice.

There's no miystery when it comes to interconnectedness. Any entry level physics course will tell you that nothing is solid, everything is nearly 90 empty space and there is no separaton on an atomic level.

Yeah because people shouldn't give advice unless they are completely perfect and not human!
