saw those k8 at a guitar center and I was sold. I must have now. I'm thinking of replacing my Yamaha club series 12's with these. Maybe even my massive subs.
Yes, 1/4 inch dimples is very convenient to stack multiple subs. If you put 2 Subs, you can raise high your K10 to use the slope of 7,5 degrees. It would be better to evenly cover the sound of the dance floor
+Frank Pirolo not good, but they will offer an extension to the tops making them sound more like a good full rage speaker but not what i'd call deep sub bass, 18's are needed for big bass, you want 40hz or lower at 130db while out door, otherwise its just noise and no feeling
the advantage with these subs is that you can add more on top of each other. they have 1/4inch round dimples on the the top so subs on top will not slide off. im gonna go with the same set up. instead i'm pairing them with K10's. other pwred 12" subs is not ment for stacking. they are completely flat on the top.
Interested in linking one of these up with my RCF Art 710A tops. Great to see that it has a built in 100Hz crossover as well. The one issue I have is that the amp power seems a tad vague. Some people state 700w and others say 800w. On top of this, i cant find definitively if this is continuous (rms), program or peak. Can someone clarify at all please
2 x QSC K8 - $ 1,300 from amazon.com, 2 x EV ZXA1-Sub - $ 1600 in Moscow I think one KSUB is more powerful than 2 EV ZXA1-Sub, but I do not like the design bendpass. But the advantage EV is very light weight and small size. This room on the video 10 x 12m. I think this is the maximum room for these subs, if you want a loud disco! It is better to use 4 Zxa1 Subs.
this music is not a good test there' s nothing under 80Hz
All right, but these subs have a very low level under 80Hz ))
Did you use the "external sub" option on your k8's? I have the k10's and thinking of getting a pair of the zxa1's. Sounds nice!
Did u find out about this?

how do you do the hookup please
From The mixer to the qsc k8 to the EV zxa1 sub
that's correct'
How are the K8's for speeches in a 1000 square-foot room?
Can you do 150 people with this system??
I think no. Maybe only for background music. Not for disco, not for live
It will be ok for 50 people
How would 2 of these little subs compare to one 15 or 18 inch sub?

I connect from the mixer to EV
From EV to the QSC
May be the opposite, it will be exactly the same
EV and QSC have through channels without filters
