  • www.teraflex.com Ouray Colorado is one of the most surreal Jeeping location on planet earth.
It's not known for its rock crawling, or difficult obstacles. What it is known for is epic beauty, and rich history. Take a trip with Brooke and the Jeep Jamboree through this scenic Christmas Card town. Find out why Ouray Colorado is a MUST DO for any Jeeper.

Beautifully filmed and narrated Brooke. Great to see an off road company making educational videos that are a joy to watch. Thanks!

Went there in 2002, planning a trip for August 2017. When we were there it was early July and Black Bear Pass wasn't open yet because of snow. If you are planning a trip to Ouray, and plan on riding some trails, wait until late summer because Black Bear is a bucket list trail.

Went there last year in late August in a 2019 TRD Pro 4 Runner. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been. I have made a pact with myself that I will go there at least once a year for the rest of my life. I was new to off roading and did not quite make it to the top of Yankee Boy Basin. It was the first trail we did that week. If I would have done it again after getting some more experience I believe I would have made it to the top. That is a good reason to go back and try again. You won't be dissapointed if you go, I promise. We went to Moab after and it was fun... but my wife and I both agreed we wished we would have stayed those days in Ouray.

We always make sure to visit Ouray/Silverton/Telluride area on our Out West Adventures. We cant resist the trails and the views from those mountain passes. We have done a lot of trails in the area over the last 10 yrs and never get tired of any of them. Plus there are still several we havent done, so, we keep going back....

Hey guys, this is a great video. Thanks for posting. I am glad you mentioned a bit of the Ute people and lead Ouray. I am sad that the Utes do live there in that area of the San Juan Mountain. I do know many people there take care of the land. Keep it simple.

Beautiful place; i love those old mining towns, there's so much to see and do. I would've objected to being winched up after a second try lol I don't give up until i make it, but i'm determined like that :P The Pikes Peak area, especially Old Stage Rd were my stomping grounds. It's got some of the best rails you've never heard or dreamed of.

The "Million Dollar Highway" got its name because it cost about a million dollars per mile to build it over a hundred years ago. The highway goes from Ouray to Silverton.

The "old buick" made it up there decades ago (probably it's 20th trip), and I'm sure someone did it in a model T ; but you have to pass a checklist and drive a 50-60 thousand dollar jeep to make it today..... smh...
