I FOUND A SUSPENDED LAKE ON THE MOUNTAIN

Exploring the Suspended lake of Shere hills in Plateau state is one of the most interesting adventures I have ever had. The Shere hills Lake was the first lake dug to during the Nigerian Colonial era by the British to supply drinking water to the whole Jos and its environs. The hike is an interesting one. It is very tasking but the breathtaking view will make up for the stress. After all, difficult roads they say lead to beautiful destinations.

It’s called Lamingo dam but can be easily accessed from Eto-baba Rd, ala Angwa rukuba. We usually go hiking there almost every Saturday. Cool video and nice drone shots.
